Netflix UK Finally Adds Star Trek’s ‘Short Treks’ To The Service
As some of the Star Trek fans out there will be aware, CBS All Access in the US has been enjoying some little mini-episodes of Star Trekky goodness in the form of ‘Short Treks’ over the past few months. Now UK fans can get them too.
The ‘Star Trek: Short Treks’ live-action mini-episodes serve as companion pieces to the main ‘Star Trek: Discovery’ series. Some follow a different character such as Tilly (Mary Wiseman), Saru (Doug Jones) or Harry Mudd (Rainn Wilson), adding background to the characters, and other help set things up for the upcoming 2nd Season of the main show.
What isn’t immediately clear on is where to find ‘Short Treks’ on Netflix, as they aren’t on the main menu, so here’s how you get to them.
- Go to ‘Star Trek: Discovery’ on Netflix UK.
- Scroll to the “Trailers & More” section.
- Scroll past all the trailers, and you’ll find the ‘Short Trek’ episodes on the end.
I don’t know why Netflix decided to bury them there, but at least they are on there now!
