Disney has released a first look teaser trailer for the much anticipated ‘Frozen 2’, which lands in cinemas towards the end of the year.
Although the trailer doesn’t give a huge amount away, it would seem Queen Elsa (Idina Menzel) finds herself stuck on a deserted beach, and is using her ice powers to try and escape. Meanwhile, Kristoff (Jonathan Groff) has roped in some of Sven the reindeer’s friends and is in a hurry, presumably to rescue someone, as that tends to be Kristoff’s MO. In the last few scenes, we see Elsa and Kristoff with Princess Anna (Kristen Bell) and Olaf the snowman (Josh Gadd), as they overlook a very Autumn-like landscape…
The new film comes from the original Academy Award-winning team of directors Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck, and producer Peter Del Vecho. Oscar-winning songwriters Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez also return to pen more catchy tunes for the film. Look on the bright side parents – you may have to hear some new songs on repeat a thousand times, but at least it’ll make a change from ‘Let It Go!’
