‘SEAL Team’ Adds Jamie McShane & Rudy Dobrev To Season 3
‘SEAL Team‘ will be getting a couple of new faces when it returns for Season 3 it has been announced.
‘SEAL Team’ is a military drama that follows the professional and personal lives of the most elite unit of Navy SEALs as they train for, plan and execute the most dangerous missions that our country can ask of them. David Boreanaz (‘Angel’, ‘Bones’) stars as Jason Hayes, the respected, intense leader of the Tier One team.
Jamie McShane is set to join the drama as Captain Lindell, a hard-charging leader who’s dedicated to bringing a new generation of operational adaptability to the Navy’s Tier One Command, and feels no allegiance to how things have been done in the past.
Most recently you might have seen McShane in short-lived series ‘The Passage’ as Tim Fanning, aka patient zero for the vampire-apocalypse. He has also starred as Eric O’Bannon in ‘Bloodline’, Patrick Quinn in ‘Scorpion’, and M.E. Burnside in ‘Murder in the First’, along with appearing in shows such as ‘Fear the Walking Dead’, ‘Bosch’ and ‘The Fosters’.
Rudy Dobrev will star as Filip, a tough, capable field agent for Serbia’s SIA. Having lived through multiple horrific wars in his homeland, Filip is a world-weary man who is dedicated to preventing the eruption of war again. Equally comfortable in the field or calling the plays from the sidelines, Filip runs covert intel recon with Mandy (Jessica Paré) to provide targeting information for Bravo Team in Serbia.
Dobrev has appeared in various shows, such as ‘Madam Secretary’, ‘NCIS: Los Angeles’, ‘Counterpart’, and ‘Days of Our Lives’. He also directed and starred in the short film ‘The Emissary’ with Emmy Award Winner Margo Martindale.
Both parts are recurring roles, which will see them star alongside the returning series regulars, Max Thieriot, Neil Brown Jr., AJ Buckley, Toni Trucks, Jessica Paré and Judd Lormand.
‘SEAL Team‘ airs on Sky One in the UK and is expected to return in Autumn 2019. The drama airs on CBS in the US and Season 3 will premiere Wednesday, October 02, 2019.
