James Bond 25 Officially Has A Name – ‘No Time To Die’

by Dave Elliott

Bond is back, and the 25th outing has a name – ‘No Time To Die’. The film, from Albert R. Broccoli’s EON Productions, Metro Goldwyn Mayer Studios (MGM), and Universal Pictures International is directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga (‘Beasts of No Nation’, ‘True Detective’) and stars Daniel Craig, who returns for his fifth film as Ian Fleming’s James Bond 007.

In ‘No Time To Die’, Bond has left active service and is enjoying a tranquil life in Jamaica. His peace is short-lived when his old friend Felix Leiter from the CIA turns up asking for help. The mission to rescue a kidnapped scientist turns out to be far more treacherous than expected, leading Bond onto the trail of a mysterious villain armed with dangerous new technology.

Joining Craig on this latest outing for Bond are Rami Malek, Léa Seydoux, Lashana Lynch, Ben Whishaw, Naomie Harris, Billy Magnussen, Ana de Armas, Rory Kinnear, David Dencik, Dali Benssalah with Jeffrey Wright and Ralph Fiennes.

Written by Neal Purvis & Robert Wade (‘Spectre’, ‘Skyfall’), Cary Joji Fukunaga, Scott Z. Burns (‘Contagion’, ‘The Bourne Ultimatum’) and Phoebe Waller-Bridge (‘Killing Eve’, ‘Fleabag’), ‘No Time To Die’ is currently in production.

The film will be released from Friday, 3rd April 2020 in the U.K. through Universal Pictures International, and in the US on April 8th, 2020, from MGM via their United Artists Releasing banner.
