Netflix Releases “First Look” Images And October Premiere Date Of Paul Rudd (& Paul Rudd…) Comedy Series ‘Living With Yourself’

Netflix has released some “first look” images, and an October premiere date, for their upcoming series Living With Yourself, which sees Paul Rudd star opposite Paul Rudd in an inventive existential comedy that asks: do we really want to be better?..

Miles (Rudd) is a man struggling in life. When he undergoes a novel spa treatment that promises to make him a better person, he finds he’s been replaced by a new and improved version of himself. As he deals with the unintended consequences of his actions, Miles finds he must fight for his wife (Aisling Bea), his career, and his very identity.

Desmin Borges (‘You’re the Worst’), Karen Pittman (‘Yellowstone’, ‘Luke Cage’), and Zoe Chao (‘The Comeback’, ‘Strangers’) are also set to appear in the series.

Rudd has spent the last few years as ‘Ant-Man’ in Marvel’s Cinematic Universe and is due to star in the new ‘Ghostbusters 2020’ movie from Jason Reitman. Aisling Bea is very busy at the moment, writing and starring in her Channel 4 comedy ‘This Way Up’, along with appearing in ITV drama ‘Quiz’ about the ‘Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?’ cheating scandal.

Told from multiple perspectives, the eight-episode series comes from the Emmy and Peabody Award-winner Timothy Greenberg (‘The Daily Show with Jon Stewart’), and is directed by Jonathan Dayton and Valerie Faris (the Oscar-nominated ‘Little Miss Sunshine’, ‘Battle of the Sexes’).

Greenberg executive produces with Anthony Bregman and Jeff Stern for Likely Story, Tony Hernandez for Jax Media, Dayton, Faris, Rudd, and Jeff Blitz.

Living With Yourself‘ premieres Friday, 18th October 2019 on Netflix UK and worldwide.
