Netflix has released the first teaser trailer for Season 1, Part 2, of Matt Groening’s animated series Disenchantment which returns Friday, 20th September 2019.

‘Disenchantment‘ whisks viewers away to the crumbling medieval kingdom of Dreamland, where they follow the misadventures of hard-drinking young princess Bean, her feisty elf companion Elfo, and her personal demon Luci. Along the way, the oddball trio encounters ogres, sprites, harpies, imps, trolls, walruses, and lots of human fools. The series features the voice talents of Abbi Jacobson (‘Broad City’) as Bean, Nat Faxon (‘Friends from College’) as Elfo, and Eric Andre (‘2 Broke Girls’, ‘The Lion King’) as Luci.

Additional cast includes familiar voices from some from Groening’s other shows, including John DiMaggio, Billy West, Maurice LaMarche, Tress MacNeille, David Herman, Matt Berry, Jeny Batten, Rich Fulcher, Noel Fielding, and Lucy Montgomery. Animation comes from Rough Draft Studios (‘Futurama’).

Part 1 of Season 1 premiered on the streaming service in August of 2018, and ‘Disenchantment’ has also been renewed for an additional 20 episodes which will roll out in 2020 and 2021.

“We’re excited to continue this epic journey with Netflix. Stay tuned for more cranked-up suspense, infuriating plot twists, and beloved characters getting knocked off,” commented show creator Matt Groening.

Disenchantment’ Season 1, part 2 premieres Friday, 20th September 2019 on Netflix UK and around the world.
