FOX Sets January UK Premiere Date For ‘NCIS’ Season 17

Long-running action-drama NCIS returns to FOX UK as Season 17 gets a January 2020 UK premiere date.

‘NCIS’ follows the agents of the Naval Criminal Investigative Service as they spearhead investigations into criminal offences in the US Naval service, lead by NCIS Special Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs (Mark Harmon). He is aided by NCIS Special Agent Timothy McGee (Sean Murray), an MIT graduate with a brilliance for computers; NCIS Special Agent Eleanor “Ellie” Bishop (Emily Wickersham), a mysterious mixture of analytic brilliance, fierce determination and idealism who specializes in international threat assessment and global preparation; the charismatic, unpredictable and resilient NCIS Special Agent Nicholas “Nick” Torres (Wilmer Valderrama), who has spent most of his career on solo undercover assignments; and NCIS Special Agent Jacqueline “Jack” Sloane (Maria Bello), who built her reputation as the agency’s premier forensic psychologist and enjoys challenging Gibbs.

This series is set to pick up right where we left off with the shocking return of fan-favourite series star Ziva David (‘Cote de Pablo’, ‘The Jury’), who was presumed dead following a mortar attack by a former CIA agent. However, in a shock twist Ziva returned last season to warn Gibbs that he’s in danger.

As the season unfolds watch as Gibbs and his team come to terms with Ziva’s reappearance whilst being hit with new and complex cases to solve.

NCIS‘ Season 17 premieres Friday, 3rd January 2020 at 9pm on FOX UK.
