‘This is Us’ Season 3 To Premiere Christmas Day On Amazon Prime UK

Merry Christmas to fans of the Pearson family! After being dropped by More4 earlier this year, This Is Us has finally landed a new UK home, as Amazon Prime UK announces Season 3 will premiere on the streaming service from Christmas Day, joining Seasons 1 and 2, which are already available to stream.

The brilliant family drama follows the Pearson family across the decades: from Jack (Milo Ventimiglia) and Rebecca (Mandy Moore) as young parents in the 1980s to their 37-year-old kids Kevin (Justin Hartley), Kate (Chrissy Metz) and Randall (Sterling K. Brown) searching for love and fulfilment in the present day. This grounded, life-affirming dramedy reveals how the tiniest events in our lives impact who we become, and how the connections we share with each other can transcend time, distance and even death.

Back in May, US network NBC made the rare move of handing out a huge three-season renewal, taking the flagship megahit drama up to Season 6. Whilst it has been doing huge numbers across the Atlantic, the series has struggled to find an audience in the UK (although that is arguably due to it being shoved around from Channel 4 to More4, and changing broadcast times.)

Hopefully, we will now see ‘This Is Us’ have a permanent home on Amazon. You can also buy This Is Us’ Season 3 on region 2 DVD now if you do not have an Amazon Prime account. No news yet on what will happen with Season 4, which is currently airing in the US, but we will bring you more information as we get it.

This Is Us‘ Season 3 premieres Wednesday, 25th December (Christmas Day) 2019 on Amazon Prime UK.
