Finally All Together! Sky Witness Announces Jan Premiere Date For ‘Chicago Fire’, ‘Chicago Med’ & ‘Chicago PD’!
Some great news for fans of the Chicago franchise. Not only will your favourite dramas all be returning in January, but they will all be in one place and on one night at long last! ‘Chicago Fire‘ Season 8, ‘Chicago Med‘ Season 5 AND ‘Chicago PD‘ Season 7 will all premiere on Sky Witness from 3rd January 2020!
‘Chicago Fire’ follows the firefighters, rescue squad and paramedics of Chicago Firehouse 51 as they risk their lives week in and week out to save and protect the citizens of the windy city. These courageous men and women are among the elite who forge headfirst into danger when everyone else is running the other way and whose actions make the difference between life and death.
Police drama ‘Chicago P.D.’ follows the men and women of the Chicago Police Department’s elite Intelligence Unit combating the city’s most heinous offences – organised crime, drug trafficking, high-profile murders and beyond.
Over on ‘Chicago Med’ we see the day-to-day chaos of the city’s newest state-of-the-art trauma centre and into the lives of the courageous doctors, nurses and staff who hold it all together.
As fans will know, all three shows had aired on different channels in the UK, with Fire airing on Sky Witness, Med on Universal, and PD on 5USA. This made life extremely frustrating for UK viewers when it came to the crossover episodes. Thankfully, I suspect in part due to Comcast, who owns Chicago’s US broadcaster NBC, now also being in control of Sky, that pain is at an end, as all 3 shows come to Sky Witness.
‘Chicago Med‘ premieres at 8pm followed by ‘Chicago Fire‘ at 9pm and ‘Chicago PD‘ at 10pm, all on Sky Witness from Friday, 3rd January 2020.
