‘Bulletproof’ Season 2 Premieres Spring 2020 Along With New Game, Plus 3-Part Special Airing Autumn 2020

Sky are going all-in on Noel Clarke and Ashley Walter’s Bulletproof as the broadcaster announces the 2nd Season of the drama will air in Spring 2020, alongside a new game coming to Sky.com in early 2020, plus a new three-part special airing Autumn 2020!

Created by Walters, Clarke and Nick Love (‘The Football Factory’)‘Bulletproof’ sees Clarke & Walters as police duo, Bishop and Pike. They’re two best mates, from very different backgrounds, yet bound by the same moral code as they chase down London’s bad guys. Season 2 sees Bishop and Pike going undercover to infiltrate an international crime empire. Their chase for justice will take them from the streets of London to Amsterdam and Cyprus, where they will have to risk everything, including their police badges, to succeed.

In addition to the new series, Sky has partnered with Charisma.ai, to launch an “immersive and gripping” Bulletproof Interrogation Game, coming to Sky.com in early 2020. In it, players are put at the heart of the action-packed cop drama, as they become an active participant in a crime story, taking direction from our favourite cop duo.

During the interactive experience, you help Pike and Bishop prevent a series of murders. A suspected serial killer has been arrested and will only talk to you. They have lined up three potential victims and what you say will affect who is spared and who is not. It’s a race against time to get the information Bishop and Pike need from the suspect. Act fast, and you’ll be able to save each of the victims, but who is really interrogating who…? The player uses their voice, via the computer mic, to talk to the suspect and to characters from the show who provide direction and support in the interrogation.

“Charisma.ai powers a new form of interactive storytelling that reaches new audiences, allowing them to play a part in the narrative and meet the characters they are passionate about,” comments Guy Gadney, CEO for Charisma.ai. “We are very excited to be working with Sky and Vertigo to set the new standard in this style of interactive storytelling.”

If that wasn’t enough for fans, Clarke and Walters have announced that Vertigo Films is producing a three-part special, coming to Sky One and NOW TV in Autumn 2020. The drama will see Bishop and Pike travelling across the world to sunnier climes in South Africa, where we will see more action, more car chases and a thrilling journey into the underworld of Cape Town.

“We are thrilled to be continuing to grow the Bulletproof franchise, with our special airing hot off the heels of Series 2, and our new Interrogation Game bringing the show’s brand to life,” adds Cameron Roach, Director of Drama, Sky Studios.

The Bulletproof three-part special is a Sky Studios and Vertigo Films production. The show was commissioned by Zai Bennett, Managing Director of Content, Sky UK and Ireland, and Cameron Roach, Director of Drama, Sky Studios. Executive Producers are Paul Gilbert for Sky, Allan Niblo for Vertigo Films, Nick Love, Noel Clarke and Ashley Walters.

Bulletproof‘ Season 2 premieres Spring 2020 on Sky One & NOW TV, with the 3-part special airing Autumn 2020.
