Sky One Sets December Premiere Dates For ‘Magnum PI’ Season 2, ‘Hawaii Five-0’ Season 10 & ‘NCIS:LA’ Season 11
The CBS “proceduralverse” is back in the UK, as Sky sets late December premiere dates for ‘Magnum PI‘ Season 2, ‘Hawaii Five-0‘ Season 10 and ‘NCIS:LA‘ Season 11.
‘Magnum P.I.’ is a modern take on the classic series centring on Thomas Magnum (Jay Hernandez – ‘Scandal’, ‘Suicide Squad’), a decorated former Navy SEAL who, upon returning home from Afghanistan, repurposes his military skills to become a private investigator. A charming rogue, an American hero and a die-hard Detroit Tigers fan, Magnum lives in a guest cottage on Robin’s Nest, the luxurious estate where he works as a security consultant to supplement his P.I. business. As the 2nd Season kicks off, Magnum is waiting to hear from Higgins as to whether she’s officially in as his new partner. But there are new cases to take on and no time to lose.
‘Hawaii Five-O’ is a contemporary take on the classic series about an elite federalized task force whose mission is to wipe out the crime that washes up on the islands’ sun-drenched beaches. In the opening episode, old friends return, a new ally helps McGarrett and Five-0 when mob bosses on the island are being targeted by an assassin., and the team sadly say goodbye to one of their own. Nothing is ever boring in the Aloha State. Alex O’Loughlin, Scott Caan, Jorge Garcia, Meaghan Rath, Dennis Chun, Ian Anthony Dale, and Chi McBride star.
‘NCIS: Los Angeles’ is a drama about the high-stakes world of a division of NCIS that is charged with apprehending dangerous and elusive criminals, who pose a threat to the nation’s security. By assuming false identities and utilizing the most advanced technology, this team of highly trained agents goes deep undercover, putting their lives on the line in the field to bring down their targets. As the 11th Season begins, the NCIS team is faced with multiple cases worldwide, forcing them to split into two, with one travelling to Tel Aviv and the other remaining in LA – but are they spread too thin? Chris O’Donnell and LL Cool J lead the cast.
If you’re wondering about the 4th show in the “proceduralverse”, ‘MacGyver‘, it was moved to mid-season on CBS, so doesn’t begin airing until February 7, 2020 in the US. It’s still a little early for a UK premiere date, but it will obviously be some point after that. We’ll let you know when we hear something.
