‘The Walking Dead‘ returns 24 February 2020 at 9:00 pm for part 2 of Season 10, and our intrepid gang have to dig themselves out of a hole… literally…
As we started Season 10, the survivors were still dealing with the Whisperer’s horrific display of power, reluctantly respecting the new borders imposed on them, all while organizing into a militia-style fighting force, preparing for a battle that may be unavoidable.
As we reached the finale (obviously, spoilers!) doctor Dante (Juan Javier Cardenas) is revealed to be a Whisperer spy after he’s killed Siddiq (Avi Nash) and attacking Rosita (Christian Serratos). This results in Gabriel (Seth Gilliam) taking justice into his own hands, and killing Dante in his cell.
Over in Oceanside, they encounter a man named Virgil (Kevin Carroll) who claims to have a weapons cache they can use on the Whisperers, which leads Michonne (Danai Gurira) to go with him and check out his story. Meanwhile, Daryl (Norman Reedus), Aaron (Ross Marquand), Magna (Nadia Hilker), Connie (Lauren Ridloff), Kelly (Angel Theory), Jerry (Cooper Andrews), and Carol (Melissa McBride) head off to find Alpha’s (Samantha Morton) horde… Only to be lured into a trap, which lands them stuck in an underground cave surrounded by the undead…
As we can see in the trailer, there the gang are trying to find a way out, but help may be on the way as Gamma (Thora Birch) informs our heroes comrades that their friends are in trouble… Although that could also be a trap to lure the rest of the group out of the safety of their walls. Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) seems to be cosying up to Alpha, although that may also be a double-cross. And what’s this?… Could Eugene (Josh McDermitt) finally be getting that relationship he wants with Rosita?
