E4 Set February UK Premiere Dates For ‘Man With A Plan’ Season 1 & ‘Schooled’ Season 2
E4 has set February UK premiere dates for Season 1 of the Matt LeBlanc comedy ‘Man With A Plan‘ and Season 2 of ‘The Goldbergs’ Spin-off ‘Schooled’ the broadcaster has announced today… And just to pre-empt the questions (because people always ask whenever we post about E4), no we don’t have dates yet for ‘Batwoman’… or ‘Supernatural’… or ‘Harley Quinn’.
‘Man With a Plan’ stars Golden Globe winner Matt LeBlanc in a comedy about an old-school guy confronting the modern challenges of parenting, marriage, and family. After hitting a rough patch with his construction business, Adam’s self-assured wife, Andi, has proposed they start a house-flipping business together along with his clueless brother, Don, and unlikely friend, Lowell. In the midst of all this, Adam also has to juggle his three children and deal with his bossy sister-in-law, Marcy, and his opinionated father, Joe, who enjoys giving him terrible advice about how to run his life. With Andi’s encouragement, Adam takes charge of his brood, lays down the law, and discovers he’s going to “nail” this job.
The series stars LeBlanc in the lead role as dad Adam Burns, with wife Andi played by Liza Snyder (‘Sirens’, ‘Jesse’). They are joined by Grace Kaufman as the sassy, rebellious eldest child Kate, with Matthew McCann as the not-so-bright middle child Teddy, and Hala Finley as youngest child, Emme. Kevin Nealon (‘SNL’, ‘Weeds’) plays Adam’s clueless brother, Don, whilst Matt Cook (‘True Blood’, ‘Clipped’) portrays Lowell, another stay-at-home dad who befriends Adam. Rounding out the cast is Kali Rocha (‘Liv and Maddie’) as Marcy, Don’s wife, and Stacy Keach (‘Prison Break’, ‘NCIS: New Orleans’) who plays Joe, Adam and Don’s father.
‘Schooled’ is set in 1990-something, and follows the hilarious faculty of William Penn Academy, led by new music teacher and WP graduate Lainey Lewis (AJ Michalka), Principal Glascott (Tim Meadows), Coach Mellor (Bryan Callen) and young, enthusiastic super-teacher Charlie Brown, or CB for short (Brett Dier). Despite their eccentricities and crazy personal lives, these teachers are heroes to their students.
As we return to class for Season 2, Lainey is excited to be back to work, but Mellor warns her that being a pal to her students is not a good idea. Principal Glascott introduces the newest science teacher to the faculty, but CB is sceptical of her no-nonsense approach.
‘Man With A Plan‘ Season 1 premieres daily from Monday, 17th February 2020 at 7:30pm, whilst ‘Schooled’ Season 2 premieres weekly from Wednesday, 19th February 2020 at 8:30pm on E4.
