E4 Sets February UK Premiere Date For ‘The Goldbergs’ Season 7

E4 has set a February UK premiere date for The Goldbergs‘ Season 7 the broadcaster has announced.

‘The Goldbergs’ follows the titular family’s escapades in 1980s Pennsylvania. Narrator Adam (Sean Giambrone, with his future self voiced by Patton Oswald) just wants to grow up as a normal, nerdy teenager – and possibly become the world’s greatest filmmaker. That looks pretty unlikely when he’s constantly battling his own family: there’s his smothering but well-meaning mother Beverly (Wendi McLendon-Covey – ‘Bridesmaids’), his hot-tempered dad Murray (Jeff Garlin – ‘Curb Your Enthusiasm’), rebellious and musical sister Erica (Hayley Orrantia), emotional and idiotic brother Barry (Troy Gentile) and beloved grandfather Pops (George Segal – ‘Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?’). While the Goldbergs might not always see eye to eye, in this sweet-natured comedy family always comes first.

As we head into Season 7, the opening episode will once again pay tribute to a hit movie from the 1980s, the iconic 1983 film ‘National Lampoon’s Vacation’, as Beverly insists the family take a road trip to go on vacation to Disneyland in Anaheim, California, before Erica and Barry go off to college. But, like the film, things do not go as planned as they travel across the country. Meanwhile, Erica worries more and more about her relationship with Geoff (Sam Lerner) when he teases “we need to talk” and won’t tell her anything until the family returns from their adventure. Anthony Michael Hall and Christie Brinkley guest star in the episode.

Adam F. Goldberg, Doug Robinson, Alex Barnow, Chris Bishop and Annette Davis are executive producers. ‘The Goldbergs’ is produced by Happy Madison, Doug Robinson Productions and Adam F. Goldberg Productions, in association with Sony Pictures Television.

The Goldbergs‘ Season 7 premieres Wednesday, 19th February 2020 at 8pm on E4.
