Sky One Confirms Return Dates For Arrowverse – ‘Supergirl’, ‘Arrow’, ‘Flash’ & ‘Legends Of Tomorrow’

Sky One has finally set the return dates for part 2 of Supergirl‘ Season 5, Arrow‘ Season 8 and Flash‘ Season 6, along with the new 5th Season of Legends Of Tomorrow it has been revealed, as ‘The Crisis Infinite Earths’ comes to the UK, at last, this March.

If you remember back to the end of last year, The crisis was about to begin. Kicking off in ‘Supergirl’, The Monitor (guest star LaMonica Garrett) sends Harbinger (guest star Audrey Marie Anderson) to gather the worlds’ greatest heroes – Supergirl (Melissa Benoist), The Flash (guest star Grant Gustin), Green Arrow (guest star Stephen Amell), Batwoman (guest star Ruby Rose), White Canary (guest star Caity Lotz), The Atom (guest star Brandon Routh) and Superman (guest star Tyler Hoechlin) – in preparation for the impending Crisis. With their worlds in imminent danger, the superheroes suit up for battle while J’onn (David Harewood) and Alex (Chyler Leigh) recruit Lena (Katie McGrath) to help them find a way to save the people of Earth-38.

For Sky One viewers, this is where we hit a problem… Part 2 of the Crisis is the ‘Batwoman’ episode. That show will come to E4 at some point “very soon”, but we don’t know exactly when yet… Plus Crisis is the 9th episode of the run, so even when it does land, it could be a few weeks before things sync up, depending on how E4 air the show. We’ll let you know more when we get more information.

Over on ‘Legends Of Tomorrow’, which (with the exception of Ray and Sara), pretty much managed to avoid the Crisis… although the fallout does have an effect on the group… The Legends are mainly dealing with the aftermath of last season’s finale. After saving the world via the power of song and themed entertainment, the Legends are major celebrities. Some struggle with the transition from lovable losers to A-list stars, while others start letting fame go to their heads. When a documentary crew decides to film the Legends in action, distracting them from their original mission, in Hell, Astra Logue (Olivia Swann) frees history’s most notorious villains in a bid for power. It’s up to the Legends to forgo fame and stop these reanimated souls (who they quickly dub “Encores”) from wreaking havoc on the timeline, whether it’s Rasputin popping out of his coffin and trying to become an immortal tsar or Marie Antoinette (and her head) turning the French Revolution into a deadly, non-stop party.

Supergirl‘ Season 5b premieres Monday, 30th March 2020 at 8pm, followed by ‘The Flash‘ Season 6b on Tuesday, 31st March 2020 at 8pm, then ‘Arrow‘ Season 8b on Wednesday, 1st April 2020 at 8pm, and ‘Legends Of Tomorrow‘ Season 5 premieres Thursday, 2nd April 2020 at 8pm.

Unfortunately, it is starting with episode 1, not episode 9 (the Crisis episode)… but it is coming the same week.

Thanks for update because getting info of sky one is like getting blood from a stone. Was starting to get to point where was just going to give up on the shows returning.

Bear in mind, these were the dates given by the Sky twitter team last week, but they technically don’t lock the the schedule until Weds (18th) i.e. tomorrow. Since we posted this, the coronavirus has shut down production across the US, including the Arrowverse, meaning there is an unknown delay on the finale few episodes… I’m hoping it doesn’t make Sky decide to hold it back even longer… Changes this late on are rare, but not impossible, and these are unique circumstances. We should know for definite tomorrow.

Arrow, flash and Legends have been going downhill and Batwoman looks like it’s gonna suck anyway. Add the fact that the crisis crossover has been shown in America months ago and thus I’ve had what I assume is most of the twists and surprises ruined, I’m afraid I’m just not excited at all anymore. This is just too little too late. Used to love these shows but I think I’ll watch crisis and then give up on them.

Here in Brazil we have the same issue about Batwoman. The series had not been aired here yet, and the channel which have the other shows’ rights showed the Crisis crossover incomplete. Solution: piracy…

They’re all on at 8pm which means, especially with Arrow that there will be some annoying editing to the episodes! Best to keep the series link but watch the download as it’ll be complete. I’ve had to do that with Arrow before and I do it with Chicago Med and Magnum
