Geektown Radio 242: ‘Altered Carbon: Resleeved’, ‘Paradise Hills’, & ‘Feel Good’ Review, Plus TV Vs Coronavirus News, Renewals & UK TV Air Dates!

It’s the first official lockdown edition of the Geektown Radio podcast (not that it really makes a huge difference to us!), and I’m joined by Bex from TristaBytes in the co-host chair to review our week in tv, plus we chat about the weekly tv news, renewals and cancellations.

Reviewing the last 7 days in tv, film and gaming, Bex has been watching sci-fi on Netflix and stumbled across the movie ‘Paradise Hills’, so gives us her thoughts on that. She also chats about anime series ‘Altered Carbon: Resleeved’, and their “influence” by ‘Ghost In The Shell’. I talk about adventures in ‘Star Trek Online’, and also review new Mae Martin series ‘Feel Good’.

In the latest news, the CoVid-19 Coronavirus is obviously still the major story, so we update you on its latest effect on the film and tv industry, and the inventive ways productions are coming up with to get their shows back on the air. We also talk about some reported casting for ‘The Mandalorian’ Season 2, and the slew of content being added to various services to keep you entertained in lockdown.

On This Weeks Show:

  • I’m joined by Bex to review the movies, tv-series, and games we’ve been watching and playing over the past week.
  • We take a look at all the latest tv & film news, including all the renewals & cancellations.
  • We give you our recommendations for the upcoming TV in the next few weeks.
