FOX UK Sets July Premiere Date For ‘NCIS: New Orleans’ Season 6
FOX UK has set a July premiere date for ‘NCIS: New Orleans‘ Season 6 it has been announced.
‘NCIS: New Orleans’ takes place in the local field office that investigates criminal cases involving military personnel in The Big Easy, a city known for its music, entertainment, and decadence. Leading the team is Special Agent Dwayne Pride (Scott Bakula), a.k.a. “King,” a native of New Orleans who is driven by his need to do what is right.
Working with Pride is his longtime friend and colleague Special Agent Christopher Lasalle (Lucas Black), who plays hard but works harder; tough and acerbic Special Agent Tammy Gregorio (Vanessa Ferlito), a former FBI Agent who was sent to New Orleans to investigate NCIS and upon completion joined Pride’s team, Forensic Agent Sebastian Lund (Rob Kerkovich), a brilliant scientist who left the lab and, after much training, became an agent; and Special Agent Hannah Khoury (Necar Zadegan), a seasoned agent who specializes in international counter-intelligence and has spent most of her career on overseas assignments.
Supporting them is coroner Dr. Loretta Wade (CCH Pounder), who is as eccentric as she is smart, and Investigative Computer Specialist Patton Plame (Daryl “Chill” Mitchell), an animated and talented hacker. This colourful city that harbours a dark side is a magnet for service personnel on leave, and when overindulgence is followed by trouble, Pride’s team is at its best.
This season, Special Agent Hannah Khoury disobeys orders and breaks protocol but with these actions come consequences. Pride is forced to cut his holiday short when he discovers Hannah has been suspended.
In the opening episode, the team investigate a private plane crash with a Navy pilot who says she saw an unidentified flying object prior to the accident. Meanwhile, Pride continues to suffer from insomnia as traumatic memories from a kidnapping the previous year take over. Pride has a blast from the past when he finds himself back at the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s office in New York with Dr. Loretta Wade and new DNA evidence links to a 20-year old case of a missing girl.
