With the news that fox is ceasing broadcasting on June 30th, is there any news what is happening with season 7 of this? Or indeed any news of Bull or NCIS?

Hi Lynz. Unclear at the moment… Disney+ has been very quiet on the status of the CBS shows which aired on FOX UK, so I’m guessing they aren’t moving to STAR/Disney+… But they haven’t actually confirmed anything either way yet.

Thanks Dave. It won’t be long before linear TV will be a thing of the past entirely and it will all just be a collection of streaming apps and those of us who enjoy linear TV will be known as the dinosaurs! Hopefully sky pick up these CBS shows now though. Great if all the NCIS shows had the same UK stable! Still at the minute I just hope someone picks them up!

Assuming they don’t move to STAR, Sky would seem like the logical choice to pick up NCIS. The other option is somewhere like 5USA. ViacomCBS actually own all the Channel 5 channels in the UK, so you would have thought they should be able to air them cheaply or for free. But then if Sky wanted to throw a bunch of money at CBS to get NCIS, they might decide that is worth selling it. We’ll have to wait and see…

NCIS New Orleans S7 starts tonight on RTE2 channel – I just came across this tonight!! I realise note everyone probably receives this channel but thought I would let you know.

Reply
Red Dog👤 Guest June 24, 2021 - 8:59 pm

Do you have access to the RTE2 channel? I’ve just heard about what is happening with the Fox channel next week and I’m really shocked as the Fox channel was classed as the “home” for NCIS. Season 7 starts tonight on RTE2 – apologies for the short notice but happen to come across this tonight!!

Has anyone actually seen episode 24 of series 3, twice now I have recorded the series only for it to get to 23 and then stop. I wish I could find a channel that actually played the whole of a series. Love this show it is by far the best of all the NCIS or CSI franchise yet it is treated the worst.

Waiting for NCIS New Orleans season 5 and NCIS season 15 to return to UK TV station 5USA. Do not have SKY TV etc. Are these series coming back?

I never did see the ending of S3 thanks to the joke of scheduling by C5!!! Fox have done a great job airing S4 and hope the same happens with S5 starting in a few weeks time. I do feel sorry for any fan of this show who does not have access to the Fox channel.

I have a feeling that not only is Channel 5 protecting its profit and loss account by not showing the second half of the season (when they’ll have to release the cost to the P&L) but, by not exercising their rights of first broadcast in the UK, they are prevent all other broadcasters from doing the same. USA channel has been showing series 3 but has stopped at episode 13; and Amazon Prime Video has series 3 streamed episodes to buy but not episode 14 onwards. Show it or get one of the other channels to buy first rights off you, Channel 5!

I have just contacted channel 5 for what good it will do me, but really felt that they needed telling how sick to death I am of them not showing the full series for a second time, I started watching season 4 on Fox via NowTv and like others was, still am, baffled as to what happend at the end of season 3……….it really makes my blood boil.

Reply
Simon👤 Guest July 20, 2018 - 11:50 pm

Well, I have just watched season 4 ep.1 on Fox and am having to piece together what happened at the end of season 3. C5 is absolutely rubbish. They did the same with Gotham. As long as they have enough air time for their pointless reality drivel they don’t seem to care.

Reply
Red Dog👤 Guest June 16, 2018 - 9:06 pm

It’s a joke the way C5 have treated this show and I’m actually glad S4 will be on Fox instead. Fox at least will broadcast the entire season at once. None of the silly behaviour we had to put with C5 by showing part of a season then take it off air for months and then when they eventually decide to show the remainder of that season you are left trying to remember what happened to the main characters in the previous episodes. I won’t be surprised if C5 doesn’t bother showing the remainder of S3 since S4 will be broadcast first in the UK by Fox.

Andrew Beet👤 Guest June 17, 2018 - 4:19 pm

Exactly and also I have contacted channel 5 and they said they haven’t got a date for when the rest of season 3 will be shown I might as well get the dvd when it’s released

Reply
Louise Bedford👤 Guest June 22, 2018 - 5:02 pm

If you have an android device there are PLENTY of apps that you can download and watch tv series. That’ll save you having to buy the DVD to watch the remainder of 3 before series 4 starts on Fox

Reply
Andrew Beet👤 Guest June 22, 2018 - 6:02 pm

I have an android device what apps are the best ones to go on

Reply
Dave Elliott👑 Admin June 22, 2018 - 6:09 pm

Those apps are out there, but please DO NOT post them on here… Whilst they exist they are in a very grey area legally, which is why you can’t usually download them from the app store and have to side load them from other sources. Also, streaming shows from dubious sources makes it even less likely for them to get picked up outside of the US. I know it’s frustrating when UK networks (well, mainly Channel 5) drop shows mid-season, but we have to remove any posts specifically mentioning or linking to dubious/illegal streaming sites or apps.

Reply
Louise Bedford👤 Guest June 22, 2018 - 5:07 pm

Forgot to say that the apps are free and so is watching the content. Worth having because if a channel doesn’t pick ANY series you can be left wondering what the he’ll happened. I’ve watched the remainder of series 3 & I’m about to watch series 7 of Suits as that’s NOT be renewed so far in the UK & series 8 has just started in America..

Andrew Beet👤 Guest June 14, 2018 - 3:10 pm

I don’t know why channel 5 shows ncis New Orleans as they always keep us waiting with showing the rest of season 3

Reply
Thomas Kelly👤 Guest June 14, 2018 - 9:53 am

E14 is a double header with NCIS S14 E15 so, I’d guess C5 are waiting for NCIS to “catch up”.

The next NCIS episode to be broadcast should be S14 E10. Maybe five weeks to wait for NCIS NO to resume.

Reply
Cameron Weir👤 Guest June 11, 2018 - 10:11 pm

Channel 5 showed up to episode 13 of season 3. They have always split the series into two parts. Up until now they have shown the second part of a season, but this time there has been a very long gap in between. I have contacted them to see if they are planning on showing the rest of the season. I have also contacted FOX to see if they have any plans to show the second half of Season 3. Because Season 4 is not going to make sense if Season 3 ended on a cliffhanger.

Reply
Red Dog👤 Guest June 8, 2018 - 8:26 pm

I must be missing something here. S4 is starting on Fox in July but C5 only showed up to Ep13 or E14 of S3!! I doubt C5 will bother showing the remainder of S3 then??!!

Reply
Dave Elliott👑 Admin June 8, 2018 - 8:38 pm

Nope, you’re not missing anything. Channel 5 only showed half of Season 3. They are apparently repeating the first half of season 3 on 5USA. Whether that leads on to them airing the the missing episode is anybodies guess at the moment…

Andrew Beet👤 Guest June 14, 2018 - 3:11 pm

Mia👤 Guest May 27, 2018 - 10:16 pm

Seriously, if Channel 5 can’t be bothered to show NCIS: New Orleans anymore, then let another channel have the right to show it. I mean Gotham has gone to E4, which is a much better channel. At least with some other channels don’t make you wait excessive amounts of time to bring the series back after he Christmas break. Give it up Channel 5, you’ve lost the plot and you’ve lost your mind.

Reply
Kevan👤 Guest April 15, 2018 - 12:24 am

Makes you sick that channel 5 even get these programmes in the first place. At least channel 4 show the way and have kept Homeland.
What’s the point in starting series 3 of NCIS New Orleans and then stopping at Christmas, no explanation and for us that follow it NO time scale as to when it’s going to continue the series.
Channel 5 wise up or ship out. After all there’s always your rubbish reality shows for you to screen that NO One watches.

Looking on amazon yesterday, I see that the NCIS: NEW ORLEANS boxed set is available so it makes more sense to invest in that then wait for Channel 5 (who aren’t in a hurry to release the series!)

Reply
James Hunter👤 Guest April 2, 2018 - 6:36 pm

It would be better if Channel 5 just gave up the rights (they already have for GOTHAM which has gone to what I think will be a better home).

Looking on amazon.co.uk today though (just on a whim) I see that they have NCIS: NEW ORLEANS season 3 listed so that may be the best way to fill the gap! (I would provide a link but I don’t know the rules of this site)

Reply
S Rose👤 Guest February 19, 2018 - 2:24 pm

If they cannot be be bothered to show this programme why on earth did they buy it? It is ALWAYS shown far later than on Fox – and then moved around arbitrarily.
Please, just give up the UK rights and let FOX / Sky show it. As they will do it properly.

Reply
James Hunter👤 Guest April 2, 2018 - 6:11 pm

It would be a novel idea if Channel 5 DID give up the rights (they’ve already given uo GOTHAM which has a better home now in my opinion).

I was just serving on amazon.co.uk though and I see that they have season 3 available (I would provide a link but I don’t know the rules of the site)

Well done channel 5, absolutely disgusting to treat viewers this way. After the debacle of big brother season whatever (which should have stopped after 1 episode of the 1st season), you now delay the return of this brilliant show and don’t even say when it will return…!!!!!! You should seriously consider sacking your programme scheduler

NCIS New Orleans is finally back in the UK on Channel 5 on Saturday 28 October 10:30pm.

Reply
Al👤 Guest October 12, 2017 - 10:16 am

I have now figured out why channel 5 have held this back, there is a crossover with Ncis season 14 which channel 5 aren’t showing until January 2018. Instead of timing ncis New Orleans with the ncis scheduling on Fox (which is shown a year earlier than on channel 5) they have held it back to coincide with their own scheduling – pricks

C. Robertson👤 Guest April 19, 2017 - 7:18 am

Why does NCIS New Orleans have so much distracting back ground noise. Totally unnecessary, it’s like a bad case of tinnitus. Spoils an otherwise good show.

Reply
Phil Lunn👤 Guest March 27, 2017 - 8:52 am

Why do Channel 5 insist on holding shows back? It’s been the same with every season

C.R. Jones👤 Guest March 27, 2017 - 1:25 pm

Agreed – no idea why they would wait 6 months since the start of season 3 in the US and still have no date.

It says on the Channel 5 website in the latest update in January that they have the rights to show the season, but that it is too early to say when they will be showing it. There has been nothing since.

Reply
Betty👤 Guest May 13, 2016 - 11:58 am

It moved from Friday to Saturday night around then and I think Sister City part 2 (the crossover with NCIS) shown Saturday 7 May was possibly the mid season break because it’s not on my planner any more.

Does anyone know why channel 5 and fox don’t coordinate the timings of NCIS and New Orleans to get the cross over episodes to show in order? It really bugs me and thus need to get them from other sources to get them in order

I believe they said not until the new year, which is bonkers as the US are nearing the end of the first series! All because Channel 5 want to devote the time slot to Big Brother all over the summer – bleurgh. Such a shame as its turned out to be great series.

Reply
KM👤 Guest February 7, 2015 - 1:53 pm

Watch the cross over episode (pilot/Ep1) with caution if you have not seen NCIS S11 or know the major change which happens.

Poor show of Five to spoil S11 of NCIS with this episode. NCIS should have been at least started if not shown in full before New Orleans was put on.
