Geektown Radio 256: ‘Gangs Of London’, ‘Perry Mason’ Reviews, NBC TV Pilots, Renewals & Cancellations, Plus UK TV Air Dates!

On the latest episode of the Geektown Radio podcast, I’m joined, after rather a long break, by Darryl from Hollywood News Source in the co-host chair to chat about our week in tv, film and gaming, plus we have all the weekly tv news, renewals and cancellations.

Reviewing the last 7 days in tv, film and gaming, Darryl has been mixing up the old and the new with the vampire detective procedural ‘Blood Ties’ on Amazon, along with Part 3 of ‘Chilling Adventures of Sabrina’ and ‘The Order’ on Netflix. He’s also been catching up with the ‘Aurora Teagarden Mysteries’ which can be found on various streaming platforms. Meanwhile, I have been watching Sky Original series ‘Gangs Of London’, new HBO drama ‘Perry Mason’, and Quibi’s ‘Most Dangerous Game’, so I give you my thoughts on those.

In the TV news, it’s more renewals, cancellations and new US pilots, as NBC announces a string of new pilots it intends to shoot at some point before the end of the year. We also chat about two pilots which were still in limbo at the time of recording – ‘Debris’, which NBC has now ordered to series, and the wonderfully bonkers sounding ‘La Brea’. We also run through the five pilots the US network has booted over to next season.

On This Weeks Show:

  • I’m joined by Darryl to review the movies, tv-series, and games we’ve been watching and playing over the past week.
  • We take a look at all the latest tv & film news, including all the renewals & cancellations.
  • We give you our recommendations for the upcoming TV in the next few weeks.
