FOX UK Sets October Premiere Date For Australian Dark Crime-Comedy ‘Mr Inbetween’ Seasons 1 & 2

FOX UK has set a premiere date for the first two seasons of Australian dark comedy-crime series Mr Inbetween‘, written by, and starring Scott Ryan, which will run back-to-back on the UK broadcaster from October.

Ray Shoesmith (Scott Ryan, ‘The Magician’), a father, ex-husband, boyfriend and best friend, is juggling some tough roles in the modern age, made even harder when you’re a criminal for hire.

Taking care of people on a permanent basis is what Ray does. He collects their debts and relieves them of their drugs and guns. Owed a large sum by his boss, Ray is sent off to collect and keep a debt with the new hire Nick (Edward Lembke-Hogan, ‘Pulse’), but needs to run things his way. Gary (Justin Rosniak, ‘War Machine’) finds himself in trouble, so Ray steps in to take the fall for his mate, but is later distracted by the immediate chemistry in a chance encounter with Ally (Brooke Satchwell, ‘Subdivision’).

Juggling a relationship, parental responsibilities, friendships and a sick brother while earning a living would be difficult for anyone, but for Ray, it’s an everyday battle.

The series was shot in Australia and produced by Blue-Tongue Films and Jungle Entertainment, in association with FX Productions, Screen Australia and Create NSW. Ryan, Edgerton and Jason Burrows are Executive Producers and Michele Bennett is Producer. The show is also renewed for Season 3.

Mr Inbetween‘ Season 1 premieres Thursday, 29th October 2020 at 10pm on FOX UK, which will be followed by Season 2.
