After a little teaser back in August, the full trailer has now landed forThe Haunting of Bly Manor, the 2nd season of Netflix’s ‘Haunting…” anthology series which began with ‘The Haunting Of Hill House’, and premieres 9th October on the streaming service.

Loosely based on the 1898 horror novella The Turn of the Screw by Henry James, ‘The Haunting of Bly Manor’ tells the story of a young governess hired by a man to look after his niece and nephew at the family country house after they fall into his care. Arriving at the Bly estate, she begins to see apparitions that proceed to haunt the premises.

Much like the ‘American Horror Story’ franchise, the anthology series reunites the cast of ‘The Haunting of Hill House’, but with them playing entirely new roles. The returning cast includes Henry Thomas, Oliver Jackson-Cohen, Kate Siegel and Catherine Parker. They are joined this season by T’nai Miller, who most recently starred in Russell T. Davies’ dark drama ‘Years & Years’, alongside ‘iZombie’s Dr. Ravi Chakrabarti, Rahul Kohli. Other cast includes Benjamin Evan Ainsworth, Amelie Smith, and Amelia Eve.

‘The Haunting of Bly Manor‘ comes from ‘Hill House’ creator Mike Flanagan, and is produced by Netflix, Paramount TV, Amblin TV, and Intrepid Pictures.

The Haunting of Bly Manor‘ premieres Friday, 9th October 2020 on Netflix UK and worldwide.
