‘Jack Reacher’: Amazon Series Adds Malcolm Goodwin, Willa Fitzgerald & Chris Webster To Cast

Amazon’s Jack Reacher series has added three new cast members joining Alan Ritchson, who takes the title role in the drama. The new editions are ‘iZombie’s Malcolm Goodwin, ‘Scream’s Willa Fitzgerald, and Chris Webster, who recently appeared in ‘Most Dangerous Game’.

Based on Lee Child’s ‘Jack Reacher’ novels, the story follows the titular army veteran as he travels the US using his skills to investigate suspicious and frequently dangerous situations. The new tv drama comes from ‘Scorpion’ creator Nick Santora who will write, exec produce and serve as showrunner, with the story being based around the first Jack Reacher novel, ‘The Killing Floor’. The series is a co-production between Amazon Studios, Skydance TV and Paramount TV Studios.

Malcolm Goodwin is set to play Chief Detective Oscar Finlay, a Harvard-educated, tweed suit-wearing Northerner who recently relocated to the small town of Margrave to take a job in the Margrave Police Department. Goodwin previously starred as the long-suffering Detective Clive Babineaux in CW’s ‘iZombie’ series, and also appeared with Boyd Holbrook and Kiefer Sutherland on Quibi drama ‘The Fugitive’.

Willa Fitzgerald will play Roscoe Conklin, who was born and raised in Margrave and is a smart and proud officer in the Margrave PD. She is resilient and is intimidated by nothing and no one. Fitzgerald played Emma in ‘Scream: The TV Series’, and more recently starred in Netflix drama ‘Dare Me’. She’s also popped up in ‘Younger’, ‘House Of Cards’, ‘Billions’ and ‘Bull’.

Chris Webster will portray KJ, the spoiled son of businessman and town benefactor Kliner. KJ thinks the town and townspeople, especially Roscoe, belong to him. Webster recently played the extremely creepy Nixon in Quibi drama ‘Most Dangerous Game’ and prior to that, appeared in AMC series ‘TURN: Washington’s Spies’. The Brit actor also appeared in ‘Cucumber’, ‘DCI Banks’, and ‘Doctors’.

All three join Alan Ritchson (‘Titans’, ‘Blood Drive’) who takes the title role of Jack Reacher. If you’re thinking that it’s interesting that a couple of actors from Quibi shows have appeared in here, that’s no coincidence. Creator Nick Santora exec produced and created the Emmy-nominated Quibi drama ‘Most Dangerous Game’ starring Liam Hemsworth and Christoph Waltz, along with ‘The Fugitive’ series starring Kiefer Sutherland and Boyd Holbrook, also for Quibi. Whilst Quibi itself is no more, you can find nearly all of the Quibi shows on The Roku Channel, which is available for free as an app on NOW, Sky Q and Roku devices.

No news yet on when the Jack Reacher series will premiere on Amazon, but we’ll let you know when we hear more.
