Amazon has released a trailer and announced an April premiere date for ‘Them‘, a new terror anthology series from breakout creator Little Marvin.
The ten-episode limited anthology series that explores terror in America. The 1950s set first season centres on a Black family who moves from North Carolina to an all-white Los Angeles neighbourhood during the period known as The Great Migration. The family’s idyllic home becomes ground zero where malevolent forces, next-door and otherworldly, threaten to taunt, ravage and destroy them.
The series stars Deborah Ayorinde (‘The Village’, ‘Luke Cage’), Ashley Thomas (‘Top Boy’, ’24: Legacy’), Alison Pill (‘Devs’, ‘American Horror Story’, ‘The Newsroom’), Shahadi Wright Joseph (‘The Lion King’), Melody Hurd (‘Trick’), and Ryan Kwanten (‘Sacred Lies’, ‘True Blood’).
The series is created and executive produced by Little Marvin along with executive producers Lena Waithe, Miri Yoon and Roy Lee of Vertigo Entertainment, David Matthews, and Don Kurt. ‘Them’ is a co-production from Sony Pictures Television and Amazon Studios.
Back in 2019, Amazon Studios inked an overall deal with series creator, writer and producer Little Marvin and his production company Odd Man Out. Alongside ‘Them’, Odd Man Out will create and produce original series and films for Amazon Studios to premiere exclusively on Prime Video in over 200 countries and territories.
