Geektown Radio 304: ‘Black Widow’, ‘Clarkson’s Farm’, ‘Monsters At Work’ Reviews, Renewals & Cancellations, UK TV Air Dates!

After a couple of weeks break, we are back on the Geektown Radio podcast, and I’m joined by Matt from Entertainment Talk to chat through our week in tv, film & gaming, along with all the weekly tv news, renewals and cancellations.

We begin by reviewing the last 7 days (and a bit longer, as we’ve been off) in tv, film and gaming. Matt hands out rave reviews to Season 2 of Netflix zombie drama ‘Black Summer’, along with heaping praise on to Apple TV+ series ‘SEE’. He’s also been retro(ish) gaming as he plays through the remastered version of ‘Mafia’. Meanwhile, I have finished Amazon series ‘Clarkson’s Farm’, and we both give our thoughts on the Disney+ series ‘Monsters At Work’, and the return of the MCU movies with ‘Black Widow’.

In the TV news, we run through the various renewals, cancellations and pickups, which includes the final NBC cancellation in ‘Good Girls’ and the surprising return of ‘Good Omens’ on Amazon. In the news, we discuss all the highlights from Netflix’s WitcherCon, along with AMC adding more human-shaped people eaters to their lineup with ‘Interview With The Vampire’. We also discuss the potential of a new ‘Supernatural’ spin-off on The CW (and its slightly awkward announcement!)

On This Weeks Show:

  • I’m joined by Matt to review the movies, games, and tv shows we’ve been watching over the past week.
  • We take a look at all the latest tv & film news, including all the renewals & cancellations.
  • We give you our recommendations for the upcoming TV in the next few weeks.
