‘Law & Order: Organized Crime’ Adds Ron Cephas Jones & Vinnie Jones For Season 2

Law & Order: Organized Crime has decided Season 2 needs to keep up with the Jones, as they add ‘This Is Us’ star Ron Cephas Jones and Brit footballer turned actor Vinnie Jones to the drama.

The drama sees Christopher Meloni reprising his role as Elliot Stabler, as he returns to the NYPD to battle organized crime after a devastating personal loss. However, the city and police department have changed dramatically in the decade he’s been away, and he must adapt to a criminal justice system in the midst of its own moment of reckoning. Stabler will aim to find absolution and rebuild his life while leading an elite new task force that is taking apart the city’s most powerful crime syndicates one by one.

Ron Cephas Jones is set to play congressman Leon Kilbride, a born politician who fosters connections and always plays his cards right. Ron (using first names, or this will get very confusing!) is probably best known for his multi-Emmy-winning role as William Hill in the hit series ‘This Is Us’. He recently starred in Apple’s Stephen King miniseries ‘Lisey’s Story’, and ‘Truth Be Told’, also for Apple TV+.

Vinnie Jones will play Albi Briscu, an Eastern European gangster who is the last remaining member of the organization from the old country. Vinnie took his first major acting gig in Guy Ritchie’s Brit crime caper ‘Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels’. Since then he has starred in over 45 films, including Ritchie’s ‘Snatch’ and ‘X-Men: The Last Stand’, along with appearing in a string of tv series such as ‘Arrow’, ‘The Cape’, ‘Elementary’, ‘Deception’ and ‘Galavant’.

‘Law & Order: Organized Crime’ is created by Dick Wolf, who executive produces alongside Ilene Chaiken, Terry Miller, Fred Berner, Arthur W. Forney and Peter Jankowski. The series is produced by Wolf Entertainment and Universal Television, a division of Universal Studio Group.

Law & Order: Organized Crime‘ Season 1 is currently airing on Sky Witness and NOW in the UK.
