Geektown Radio 309: ‘Heels’, ‘Titans’ Reviews, Renewals & Cancellations, UK TV Air Dates!

We are back with another Geektown Radio podcast, and I’m joined by Matt from Entertainment Talk to chat through our week in tv, film & gaming, along with all the weekly tv news, renewals and cancellations.

We begin by reviewing the last 7 days in tv, film and gaming. Matt has mainly been gaming the last few weeks, so chats about returning to ‘Cyberpunk 2077’ after the game had… shall we say, a rocky release… He also gives us some thoughts on ‘Call of Duty: Black Ops – Cold War’, and talks about reintroducing his father to gaming with ‘Crash Bandicoot 4’. Meanwhile, I have been watching a string of new shows. They include the return of ‘Stargirl’ for a 2nd Season, and also chat about previewing the first 3 episodes of ‘Titans’ Season 3 (no spoilers!). ‘Star Trek: Lower Decks’ also returned for a 2nd Season, and Starzplay’s new wrestling show ‘Heels’ starring Stephen Amell and Alexander Ludwig.

In the TV news, we run through the various renewals, cancellations and pickups. In the news, ViacomCBS getting sued, ‘The Lord of the Rings’ moving to the UK, FX expanding the ‘American Story’ franchise with two new series, AMC’s ‘Interview With The Vampire’ series casting Lestat, and ‘Powerpuff’ losing its Blossom.

On This Weeks Show:

  • I’m joined by Matt to review the movies, games, and tv shows we’ve been watching over the past week.
  • We take a look at all the latest tv & film news, including all the renewals & cancellations.
  • We give you our recommendations for the upcoming TV in the next few weeks.
