‘Miracle Workers: Oregon Trail’ Gets October UK Premiere Date On Sky Comedy & NOW
Daniel Radcliffe and Steve Buscemi return in the brilliant anthology comedy series ‘Miracle Workers: Oregon Trail‘ which sees the duo, alongside Geraldine Viswanathan and Karan Soni, transported to the American Old West.
Adventure! Romance! No GPS! Season 3 of the comedy anthology series follows the pioneers of the American West circa 1844. Reverend Ezekiel Brown (Radcliffe) leads his dying, famine-stricken town to head for a better life on the Oregon Trail, taking in notorious outlaw Benny the Teen (Buscemi) as trailmaster Meanwhile, repressed prairie wife Prudence Aberdeen (Viswanathan) responds to the freedom of the trail, pulling her away from her wealthy husband Todd (fellow returning cast member Jon Bass).
The season also sees the return of Karan Soni, who will be playing “The Gunslinger”, and is joined by Lamont Thompson, Tammy Dahlstrom, River Drosche, Shay Mitchell, Jordan Firstman, Quinta Brunson, Carl Tart, Tim Meadows, Erin Darke, Jessica Lowe, Ron Funches, Karamo Brown, Marisa Quintanilla, and Bobby Moynihan.
Along with the new setting, this season will see a couple of changes behind the cameras too. Simon Rich, who created the series, has stepped down as showrunner for the next season to be replaced by Dan Mirk and Robert Padnick, who both worked as writers on the first two seasons. As this is set in the old west (and due to the pandemic), filming for Season 3 moved from the Czech Republic, where it has shot the first two seasons, to California.
