‘Cobra Kai’ Season 4 Gets A New Trailer & December Premiere Date On Netflix

by Dave Elliott

Netflix has announced 2021 will go out with a bang… or crane kick… as Cobra Kai, Season 4 gets a new trailer and December premiere date on the streaming service.

The series takes place 30 years after the events of the 1984 All Valley Karate Tournament, where a now-successful Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio) struggles to maintain balance in his life without the guidance of Mr. Miyagi and must face his previous adversary, down-and-out Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka), who seeks redemption by reopening the infamous Cobra Kai karate dojo.

The most recent third season found everyone reeling in the aftermath of the violent high school brawl between their dojos, which had left Miguel (Xolo Mariduena) in a precarious condition. While Daniel searched for answers in his past and Johnny sought redemption, Kreese (Martin Kove) further manipulated his vulnerable students with his own vision of dominance. The soul of the Valley was at stake, and the fate of every student and sensei hung in the balance…

As we head into Season 4, that battle for the soul of the Valley kicks into high gear with the return of the All Valley Karate Tournament. As you can see in the clip, Daniel and Johnny are now working together to take on this new threat. Legends will be born

‘Cobra Kai’ is written and executive produced by Josh Heald, Jon Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg via their production company, Counterbalance Entertainment. Will Smith, James Lassiter and Caleeb Pinkett executive produce for Overbrook Entertainment along with Susan Ekins in association with Sony Pictures Television. Ralph Macchio and William Zabka serve as co-executive producers.

Cobra Kai‘ Season 4 will premiere on Friday, 31st December 2021 on Netflix UK and worldwide.
