Geektown Radio 315: ‘Foundation’, ‘Y: The Last Man’ Reviews, Renewals & Cancellations, UK TV Air Dates!

We are back with another Geektown Radio podcast, and in this latest edition, I’m joined by Darryl from Hollywood North News to chat through our week in tv, film & gaming, along with all the weekly tv news, renewals and cancellations.

We begin by reviewing the last 7 days in tv, film and gaming. Darryl has been catching up on some shows, beginning with the final season of ‘Lucifer’, so he gives his thoughts on that so far. We also chat through ‘Marvel’s What If?…’, and the Star On Disney+ comedy ‘Only Murders In The Building’. Meanwhile, I have been having a week of first episodes of new series. I watched the first episode of comedy ‘Mr Mayor’, the return of ‘Never Mind the Buzzcocks’, and the opening couple of episodes of ‘Star Wars: Visions’. I also review the opening episodes of the FX series ‘Y: The Last Man’, and the epic new Apple TV+ sci-fi ‘Foundation’.

In the TV news, we run through the renewals, along with some cancellations and pickups, and talk through the various announcement from Netflix’s TUDUM event. In the news, we discuss Netflix acquisition of a beloved author’s books, Showtime getting into the vampire genre, the return of ‘Teen Wolf’, and the return of Russell T Davies to ‘Doctor Who’.

On This Weeks Show:

  • I’m joined by Darryl to review the movies, games, and tv shows we’ve been watching over the past week.
  • We take a look at all the latest tv & film news, including all the renewals & cancellations.
  • We give you our recommendations for the upcoming TV in the next few weeks.
