‘The 100’: Season 7 Finally Lands A UK Premiere Date On E4 This November

It’s taken a while… A loooong while… But The 100 7th and final season has finally landed a UK premiere date. Due to the drunken, random, tombola-style, scheduling system used at Channel 4, the final season will air on the 4Music channel, (UPDATE: E4) but hey, at least it is airing somewhere!

The series began following a group of young post-apocalyptic survivors as they return to Earth after their orbiting space ark begins to fail… only to discover that the human race had never truly left. Clarke (Eliza Taylor) found herself forced to lead a band of disposable juvenile delinquents as they faced death at every turn: from a world transformed by radiation, from the fierce Grounders who somehow managed to survive in it, and, perhaps worst of all, from themselves.

For five seasons our heroes did whatever it took to survive on Earth… and nothing worked. Earth was unsurvivable, lost to them forever. What was not lost: hope. After 125 years in cryosleep, travelling through the stars, the sixth season saw our heroes wake up to a new home, a final gift from dearly-departed friends. A place where they can try again. They’re given one simple task: do better. Be the good guys. With this credo in mind Clarke (Eliza Taylor) and Bellamy (Bob Morley) led a group down to this mysterious world, hoping to start anew, to finally find peace. But old habits die hard and when they stumble across an idyllic society, it quickly became clear that not everything on Sanctum was as perfect as it seems. Despite their determination to do better, threats both seen and unseen will once again forced our heroes to fight for their lives and the future of humanity.

As we enter Season 7, Clarke and her friends attempt to rebuild Sanctum as a new threat rises in the woods. Marie Avgeropuolos, Lindsey Morgan, Richard Harmon, Tasya Teles, Shannon Kook, JR Bourne, Shelby Flannery and Chuku Modu also star.

Based on the book series by Kass Morgan, ‘The 100’ is from Bonanza Productions Inc. in association with Alloy Entertainment, Warner Bros. Television and CBS Television Studios with executive producers Jason Rothenberg, Leslie Morgenstein (“The Vampire Diaries,” “The Originals”), Gina Girolamo (“Legacies,” “The Originals”), Kim Shumway (“Wisdom of the Crowd”), Ed Fraiman (“Impulse”) and Jeff Vlaming (“Hannibal,” “Outcast”).

UPDATE: Unfortunately, the Red Bee Media fire/incident, which has been causing havoc across the networks, took 4Music off the air, delaying the broadcast from the original October premiere date…

The 100‘ Season 7 premieres Friday, 5th November 2021 at 9pm on 4Music in the UK with a double bill.

UPDATE (04/11/21) –  So close… The 100 was in the schedule up until today (you could even add it to record on Sky), and now it has vanished again… I would suggest tweeting at https://twitter.com/4Viewers

UPDATE (06/11/21) – ‘The 100’ seems to be back on the 4Music schedule on 15th November 2021 at 11pm, but there is every chance it may not stick there… Channel 4 are saying “keep an eye on the listing guides for further info.”

UPDATE (09/11/21) – Anddd… it’s vanished again… We’ll update if ‘The 100’ reappears on the schedule…

UPDATE (11/11/21) – Channel 4 seems to have now given up on putting it on 4Music, and it’s now showing on E4 instead from Saturday, 27 November 2021 at 3:25AM, with episodes going out daily in that timeslot.
