‘The 100’: Season 7 Finally Lands A UK Premiere Date On E4 This November
It’s taken a while… A loooong while… But ‘The 100‘ 7th and final season has finally landed a UK premiere date. Due to the drunken, random, tombola-style, scheduling system used at Channel 4, the final season will air on the 4Music channel, (UPDATE: E4) but hey, at least it is airing somewhere!
The series began following a group of young post-apocalyptic survivors as they return to Earth after their orbiting space ark begins to fail… only to discover that the human race had never truly left. Clarke (Eliza Taylor) found herself forced to lead a band of disposable juvenile delinquents as they faced death at every turn: from a world transformed by radiation, from the fierce Grounders who somehow managed to survive in it, and, perhaps worst of all, from themselves.
For five seasons our heroes did whatever it took to survive on Earth… and nothing worked. Earth was unsurvivable, lost to them forever. What was not lost: hope. After 125 years in cryosleep, travelling through the stars, the sixth season saw our heroes wake up to a new home, a final gift from dearly-departed friends. A place where they can try again. They’re given one simple task: do better. Be the good guys. With this credo in mind Clarke (Eliza Taylor) and Bellamy (Bob Morley) led a group down to this mysterious world, hoping to start anew, to finally find peace. But old habits die hard and when they stumble across an idyllic society, it quickly became clear that not everything on Sanctum was as perfect as it seems. Despite their determination to do better, threats both seen and unseen will once again forced our heroes to fight for their lives and the future of humanity.
As we enter Season 7, Clarke and her friends attempt to rebuild Sanctum as a new threat rises in the woods. Marie Avgeropuolos, Lindsey Morgan, Richard Harmon, Tasya Teles, Shannon Kook, JR Bourne, Shelby Flannery and Chuku Modu also star.
Based on the book series by Kass Morgan, ‘The 100’ is from Bonanza Productions Inc. in association with Alloy Entertainment, Warner Bros. Television and CBS Television Studios with executive producers Jason Rothenberg, Leslie Morgenstein (“The Vampire Diaries,” “The Originals”), Gina Girolamo (“Legacies,” “The Originals”), Kim Shumway (“Wisdom of the Crowd”), Ed Fraiman (“Impulse”) and Jeff Vlaming (“Hannibal,” “Outcast”).
UPDATE: Unfortunately, the Red Bee Media fire/incident, which has been causing havoc across the networks, took 4Music off the air, delaying the broadcast from the original October premiere date…
‘The 100‘ Season 7 premieres Friday, 5th November 2021 at 9pm on 4Music in the UK with a double bill.
UPDATE (04/11/21) – So close… The 100 was in the schedule up until today (you could even add it to record on Sky), and now it has vanished again… I would suggest tweeting at https://twitter.com/4Viewers
UPDATE (06/11/21) – ‘The 100’ seems to be back on the 4Music schedule on 15th November 2021 at 11pm, but there is every chance it may not stick there… Channel 4 are saying “keep an eye on the listing guides for further info.”
UPDATE (09/11/21) – Anddd… it’s vanished again… We’ll update if ‘The 100’ reappears on the schedule…
UPDATE (11/11/21) – Channel 4 seems to have now given up on putting it on 4Music, and it’s now showing on E4 instead from Saturday, 27 November 2021 at 3:25AM, with episodes going out daily in that timeslot.

I think Channel 4 have forgotten (again) about The 100 on catch-up.
?We are not all ‘night-owls’
Anyone got an update as to when season 7 ep.13, will be available to watch on All4? – Hopefully not out of order (ep14 before ep 13)
Yeah, it’s a bit ridiculous eh?
Episode 10 is finally online!
Anyone got an update as to when season 7 ep.10, will be available to watch (albeit out of order)?
I saw a tweet from e4, they are working on getting the missing episode back online
Season 7 ep.11 just appeared on All4/E4/My4, now all we need is ep.10 – A Little Sacrifice
Ep11 still showing but not 10! Huh, a tad odd.
It’s crazily confusing! Watched up to episode 9 on catch up, you only get about 2-3 days to watch it after it’s aired. Then mysteriously no more in catch up though it’s still advertised at the 3am time slot. I checked all4 listing for the 100 and it did say episode 10 is on this Wednesday 3am ish. Hoping it’s available on catch up! But talk about confusing!! Seen it’s available on Prime but weirdly only up to episode 5! Arghhh! And not free…
What the heck … first the yeahbutnobut game on 4Music – then it is sneaked in at 3.25/3.15 am on E4 but it is not available on catch up. It seems that by the time it is made available on catch up, there is no episode 1 showing because each episode is only available for around 96 hours (4 days) – might also be that I checked in too late for episode 1. Now episode 10 was supposedly shown on 06.12.2021 and again is not available on catch up 17 hours later :-)
I’m getting pissed off with it.. Now waiting on ep10 etc.. Smdh.. I should have just ordered the Dvd from Amazon! I’ve only been waiting over a year to see how this all ends.. Stupid! How you show 1-6 seasons and then make season 7 the bloody hardest to view..
Where is season 7 The 100 being shown? ? getting beyond ridiculous now!!!
It’s been airing on E4 since Friday
It isn’t on catch up, why not?
Because ever since the Red Bee Media fire/incident, All4 seems to be held together with cardboard and sticky tape, so the catch-up for shows have been all over the place…
As advertisement showing channels, you would think they would try and make it easy to watch a show by telling us when and where it’s on, but with all the ‘coming soon’ business, rescheduling and channel changes, I’ve given up and consigned 4Music to the list of other back-water channels I don’t bother to watch.
I missed it , I saw nothing about it , I was just watching batwoman and saw it was next and catch up is from episode 6 , sooooo annoying , I view new series all time as I miss my never miss
Why not just stick it on demand so people who want to watch it can!!! So frustrating!
All4 app says The 100 on at 27th November at 3.25am
Yep, that seems to be correct (at the moment!)
3.10am now
100 series 7 What’s going on. Had it scheduled for recording now nothing is shown up.
And it’s gone from the guide again
It’s showing Friday Night Dinner at 11pm on the 15th Nov!!!
its gone again
It’s in the guide to air on the 15th of November at 11pm
No it’s not!!!
it is and the same for the 16th also at 11pm, that might change again though
I have looked on the planner and I can’t see it there at all.
I contacted Channel 4 via their viewer enquiries on the website and they replied:
“We apologise for the rescheduling of this show. We have been and are still experiencing technical issues with 4 Music. It is likely that The 100 will now be transmitted from the 15th of November – however, please do keep an eye on the listing guides for further information.”
Delayed for a third time when it was already well over a year late. This is a new low for Channel 4. Unfortunately Amazon Prime Video seem to have stopped at Season 5, or else I would have watched The 100 Season 7 there a lot sooner.
saw an advert in young sheldon 3rd nov for the 100 this friday(5th nov) 9pm 4 music so put it in my planner & it’s gone already wtf is going on???
Hi I taped the 100 from last night on 4music like it said it was but when I went to watch it this morning, all it was was music!! What is going on!??
It’s now 5th november
So are they airing the 100 or not I can’t find it
Unfortunately, the Red Bee Media fire/incident, which has been causing havoc across the networks, seems to have taken 4Music off the air at the moment, so the channel listed under 4Music isn’t actually 4Music… It’s the Box Hits Channel (which Channel 4 also own).
The situation was IF they could get 4Music back on-air by the 15th October, ‘The 100’ will air on the 15th, but they didn’t. They now (currently) have it as airing on the 29th October instead… but that obviously very much depends if they can get 4Music back on air by then…
JUst tried to set up sky to record series 7 of The 100 it says the channel 4music is experiencing technical issues and to watch BoxHits instead but no sign of the. 100. Can you advise if it is still going ahead on Friday please?
As you mentioned, the channel it is listing under 4Music isn’t actually 4Music… It’s the Box Hits Channel. The Red Bee Media fire seems to have taken the actual 4Music channel totally off-air at the moment, so they air feeding in a copy of the Box Hits Channel (which Channel 4 also own) so it has something airing on that EPG number.
The situation seems to be, IF they can get 4Music back on-air by the 15th, The 100 will air on the 15th. If they can’t, it’ll air on the 28th (that is, assuming they can get it back on air by then!)
Still not showing on 4music TV guide for 15 October
I’ve updated the article now to explain, but it’s possible they may have had to bump it back to the 28th due to the ongoing chaos caused by the Red Bee Media fire/incident. Although, it’s still not totally clear!
Ah… I see what’s happening with the listings…
The channel it is listing under 4Music isn’t actually 4Music… It’s the Box Hits Channel. The Red Bee Media fire seems to have taken the actual 4Music channel totally off-air at the moment, so they air feeding in a copy of the Box Hits Channel (which Channel 4 also own) so it has something airing on that EPG number. My guess is, if they can get the proper 4Music back on-air by the 15th, The 100 will air on the 15th. If they can’t, it’ll air on the 28th (assuming they can get it back on air by then!)
Surprised they bothered to air it after moving season 6 to midnight
Excellent. Now what about Charmed Season 3?
About bloody time.
Not as if they weren’t short of content to use during the pandemic, rerunning old Hollyoaks and stuff but still not sticking the 100 on.
Took long enough. I’m sick of US shows just being treated as schedule filler by UK broadcasters. Viewers of UK shows like Poldark and Sherlock don’t have to put up with this. At least The 100 is still on at 9pm although on a music channel this time for some reason, so the episodes will hopefully be unedited which is a win there at least. Until they start changing the time slot every other week as E4 did with Batwoman Season 2 anyway.
I have heard Channel 4 have been experiencing financial difficulties recently, so hopefully that will encourage them to focus on their own homegrown programmes and let US shows go to streaming services instead going forward.
