‘Black Adam’ Gets Official First-Look Teaser At #DCFanDome

by Dave Elliott

The DC FanDome event dropped the first little footage of the highly anticipated ‘Black Adam’ movie featuring Dwayne Johnson in the title role.

“This film, this universe has been a gigantic passion project of mine for a very long time,” commented Johnson, before introducing a clip that reveals his alter-egos entrance in the movie, going on to add “The film has without question some of the biggest action sequences I have ever been a part of.” Johnson signed up to the film in 2014, but had previously expressed an interest in playing the character way back in 2007.

Whilst we don’t have an official synopsis for the film, we do know it also features various members of the Justice Society of America. They include Aldis Hodge as Hawkman; Noah Centineo as Atom Smasher; Quintessa Swindell as Cyclone; and Pierce Brosnan as Doctor Fate. Brosan himself actually hypes the movie in the intro saying “I’ve done James Bond for 10 years, four films. Nothing compares to this…” High praise indeed!

Jaume Collet-Serra (‘Jungle Cruise’) directs the film, based on a script by Rory Haines, Sohrab Noshirvani and Adam Sztykiel.

‘Black Adam’ is set to premiere on 29th July 2022.
