‘Murdoch Mysteries’: Alibi Sets January UK Premiere Date For Season 15
It’s January, which means it’s time for more early 1900s crime-solving, as Albi sets a UK premiere date for ‘Murdoch Mysteries‘ Season 15.
Set in Toronto at the dawn of the 20th century, Murdoch Mysteries explores the intriguing world of William Murdoch (Yannick Bisson), a methodical and dashing detective who pioneers innovative forensic techniques to solve some of the city’s most gruesome murders.
Season 15 opens with Detective Murdoch as he journeys to Montreal seeking to find and protect his son, Harry, from the Black Hand gang; Brackenreid’s (Thomas Craig) son has sprung loose from jail and is on the run after a murder at the Kingston Pen; Crabtree (Jonny Harris) finds himself in a compromised situation as he tries to save Effie (Clare McConnell) from her kidnappers; Violet Hart (Shanice Banton) explores an interesting way to deal with her not-so-new husband; and Watts (Daniel Maslany), still embroiled in an illicit affair, encounters a brand-new murder mystery.
Murdoch Mysteries is developed and produced by Shaftesbury, in association with CBC, ITV STUDIOS Global Entertainment and UKTV, and with the participation of the Canada Media Fund, IPF’s COGECO Television Production Fund, the Canadian Film or Video Production Tax Credit, and the Ontario Film and Television Tax Credit. Shaftesbury Sales Company and ITV STUDIOS Global Entertainment hold worldwide distribution rights for the series. Murdoch Mysteries is filmed in Toronto and Southern Ontario.
