‘The Rookie’: Season 4 Gets January UK Premiere Date On Sky Witness
The ever watchable Nathan Fillion is set to return to the streets of LA this January, as Sky Witness sets a UK premiere date for ‘The Rookie‘ Season 4.
The series stars Fillion as John Nolan, the oldest rookie in the LAPD, who has used his life experience, determination and sense of humour to keep up with rookies 20 years his junior. Nearing the end of his training, Nolan now faces his biggest challenge as a police officer when he must come to terms with the choices he has made in pursuit of the truth.
To remind you where we left things in the season three finale, Lopez (Alyssa Diaz) had been working undercover in an attempt to take down Sandra “La Fiera” De La Cruz (Camille Guaty). Whilst the drug lord was captured, she was then broken out from her prisoner transport by her gang. Meanwhile, Wesley (Shawn Ashmore) and Lopez’s wedding ceremony was just beginning, but a vengeful La Fiera sends her men to kidnap Lopez…
In the fourth season premiere, Officer Nolan and the entire team race against the clock to locate Lopez after she is kidnapped on her wedding day, not only to save her life but her unborn child’s.
The series also stars Mekia Cox (Officer Nyla Harper), Richard T. Jones (Sergeant Grey), Titus Makin (Officer Jackson West), Melissa O’Neil (Officer Lucy Chen) and Eric Winter (Officer Tim Bradford). Joining them this season is Jenna Dewan who guested last season as firefighter Bailey Nune, Nolan’s date to the wedding, who has been upped to series regular this year. There are some other major cast changes this season, which I won’t go into due to spoilers!
The show was created by Alexi Hawley, and comes from Entertainment One and ABC Signature. Hawley exec produces with Mark Gordon, Fillion, Michelle Chapman, Jon Steinberg, Bill Norcross and Terence Paul Winter.
