‘The Bubble’: Netflix Releases Trailer For Very Silly COVID Judd Apatow Comedy Film

Netflix has released a trailer for the upcoming film ‘The Bubble’. A very silly comedy, packed with stars, with Judd Apatow as director, co-writer and producer.

Set in the UK, the movie follows a group of actors and actresses, along with the production crew, who are stuck inside a pandemic bubble at a hotel attempting to complete a sequel to an action franchise film about flying dinosaurs.

The film has a host of familiar faces including Karen Gillan, David Duchovny, David Duchovny, Kate McKinnon, Pedro Pascal, Peter Serafinowicz, Rob Delaney, Guz Khan, Samson Kayo, Fred Armisen, Iris Apatow, Leslie Mann, to name but a few!

The movie is written by Judd Apatow who also directs. His previous directorial and writer credits include Emmy Award-winning ‘The Zen Diaries of Garry Shandling’, ‘The King of Staten Island’, ‘Trainwreck’, ‘Funny People‘, ‘This Is 40’, ‘Knocked Up’ and ‘The 40-Year-Old Virgin’. Pam Brady (‘Hamlet 2’, ‘South Park’) serves as co-writer.

Barry Mendel, Donald Sabourin and Pam Brady serve as executive producers. Mendel and Apatow’s previous work together includes the Academy Award-nominated films ‘The Big Sick’ and ‘Bridesmaids’ as well as ‘The King of Staten Island’, ‘This Is 40’, ‘Trainwreck’ and ‘Funny People’. Apatow Productions produces the film.

‘The Bubble’ premieres Friday, 1st April 2022 on Netflix UK and worldwide.
