The Geektown Radio podcast is back for a new episode, and Matt from Entertainment Talk returns again this week to chat through the last seven days on UK TV, film, and gaming, alongside the usual TV news and UK TV air dates!
Matt starts with an update on Ben Stiller’s wonderfully weird Apple TV+ series ‘Severance’ as that heads toward the final few episodes. He also chats through two wildly different animated series with ‘DC Super Hero Girls’ and ‘Archer’. Meanwhile, I review the beautifully zen video game ‘Unpacking’, and discuss why I wasn’t at Wales Comic-Con this weekend… On the TV side, I talk (spoiler-free) about the ‘Peaky Blinders’ finale, and review the comedy ‘Hacks’, which is now on Prime Video UK. We then both delve into the latest MCU offering, ‘Moon Knight’.
Over in the TV news, we run through the renewals, along with some cancellations and pickups. We also discuss character changes in ‘The Umbrella Academy’ Season 3, more casting for Amazon’s ‘Fallout’ series, and two new cast who are boarding ‘Snowpiercer’ for its next season.
