‘Brooklyn Nine-Nine’ Season 8 Finally Gets UK Premiere On E4 This April

It seems someone has finally managed to awaken the E4 schedulers from their drunken stupor to remind them that they still haven’t aired the 8th Season of Brooklyn Nine-Nine, as the UK channel announces the final outing will premiere this April.

Created by the ‘Parks and Rec’ pairing of Dan Goor and Michael Schur ‘Brooklyn Nine-Nine’ stars Andy Samberg as Det. Jake Peralta, a talented but carefree detective at Brooklyn’s 99th Precinct. Andre Braugher plays Holt, captain of the precinct, whilst Terry Crews plays Holt’s next-in-command – a muscle-bound human mountain who loves nothing more than his three little daughters, except for a fresh carton of full-fat yoghurt.

As we head into the eighth and final series, Jake and the squad must try to balance their personal and professional lives over the course of a very difficult year. In the opening episode, Amy returns from maternity leave and Jake and Rosa work a difficult case.

Creators Dan Goor and Mike Schur serve as executive produce with David Miner and Luke Del Tredici. The series is produced by Universal Television, a division of NBCUniversal Content Studios, Fremulon, Dr. Goor Productions and 3 Arts Entertainment.

Brooklyn Nine-Nine‘ Season 8 premieres Wednesday, 20th April 2022 at 9pm on E4, and will premiere with a double-bill.
