The Geektown Radio podcast is back for a new episode, and our Film Expert Gray returns this week to chat through the last seven days on UK TV, film, and gaming, alongside the usual TV news and UK TV air dates!
As Gray is back on the show, he gives us his Top 5 Film News Stories Of March 2022, which includes the “other” news from the Oscars which has been rather overlooked, a roundup from the BAFTAs, Warners moving movie dates, ‘Deadpool 3’, and Bruce Willis. He also has been out reviewing films, so gives us his thoughts on ‘The Batman’, Michael Bay’s ‘Ambulance’, Netflix’s ‘The Bubble’, ‘Sing 2’, and (so you don’t have to see it) ‘Morbius’… and comes to a somewhat surprising conclusion about which one is best! Meanwhile, I finish my run through season one of ‘Hacks’, so give my thoughts on that, along with season two of ‘Raised By Wolves’. I also review the new Apple TV+ series ‘Slow Horses’ starring Gary Oldman.
Over in the TV news, we run through the renewals, along with some cancellations and pickups. We also chat about casting for ‘Star Trek Picard’ season three, Rob Lowe & Son creating a sitcom, Harrison Ford coming to the small screen, and ‘Orphan Black’ getting a spin-off.
