Netflix has dropped the first teaser trailer for their upcoming live-action Resident Evil series, which premieres this July on the streaming service.

The eight-episode stars Lance Reddick (‘Bosch’, ‘American Horror Story’) as Albert Wesker and Ella Balinska (‘The Athena’) as Jade, alongside Tamara Smart (‘The Worst Witch’), Siena Agudong (‘No Good Nick’), Adeline Rudolph (‘Riverdale’) and Paola Nuñez (‘The Purge’). Additional cast members are Ahad Raza Mir (‘Ehd-e-Wafa’), Connor Gossatti (‘3rd Night’) and Turlough Convery (‘Killing Eve’, ‘Sanditon’, ‘Poldark’).

Andrew Dabb (‘Supernatural’) is the creator and serves as showrunner on the drama. Dabb also executive produces and writes the series alongside Mary Leah Sutton (‘Tell Me a Story’, ‘The Following’). Constantin Film serves as the studio with also Robert Kulzer and Oliver Berben exec producing. Constantin Film CEO Martin Moszkowicz produces.
