Geektown Radio 346: ‘The Boys’, ‘Essex Serpent’, ‘The Orville’, ‘For All Mankind’ Reviews, TV News & UK Air Dates!

The Geektown Radio podcast returns with Matt from Entertainment Talk in the co-host chair to chat through and review the last seven days on UK TV, film, and gaming, alongside the usual TV news and UK TV air dates.

As we hurtle headlong into the busiest month of UK television in years, Matt tells us about Apple TV+ series ‘The Essex Serpent’, along with catching up with award-winning HBO series ‘Barry’ on Sky and NOW. We also chat about episode three of ‘Obi-Wan’, and the return of ‘The Boys’ for Season 3 on Prime Video. Meanwhile, I review ‘The Flight Attendant’ Season 2 and discuss what the future holds for the dramedy, along with reviewing episode one of ‘The Orville: New Horizons’, catching up with ‘Stranger Things’ Season 4 on Netflix, and a preview of ‘For All Mankind’, which returns to Apple TV+ this Friday.

Over in the TV news, we chat through the usual renewals and cancellations, along with running through day one of Netflix’s “Geeked Week” event. We chat about ‘The Sandman’, ‘Resident Evil’, ‘Warrior Nun’ and the resurrection of ‘Manifest’. We also discuss the state of DC on The CW, with the ‘Justice U’ potential series, and the… let’s say, “less than well-received” trailer for the ‘Gotham Knights’ tv show… If all that wasn’t enough, we talk about new reveals for ‘Tales Of The Walking Dead’, the starting line-up for Paramount+ UK, and the possible saving of ‘Magnum P.I.’! It’s a packed show, so listen below!
