‘Superman & Lois’: Season 2 Gets July UK Premiere Date On BBC One/iPlayer
Season 2 of ‘Superman & Lois‘ will make a superhero landing this July on BBC One and iPlayer the UK broadcaster has announced.
After years of facing megalomaniacal supervillains, monsters wreaking havoc on Metropolis, and alien invaders intent on wiping out the human race, the world’s most famous superhero, The Man of Steel aka Clark Kent (Tyler Hoechlin, “Teen Wolf”) and comic books’ most famous journalist, Lois Lane (Elizabeth Tulloch, “Grimm”), come face to face with one of their greatest challenges ever – dealing with all the stress, pressures and complexities that come with being working parents in today’s society. Complicating the already daunting job of raising two boys, Clark and Lois must also concern themselves with whether or not their sons Jonathan (Jordan Elsass, “Little Fires Everywhere”) and Jordan (Alexander Garfin, “The Peanuts Movie”) have inherited their father’s Kryptonian superpowers as they grow older.
As we head into season two, Lois and Clark struggle as a couple, while Chrissy (Sofia Hasmik) adjusts to running the Smallville Gazette with Lois. Meanwhile, Kyle (Erik Valdez, “Graceland”) grows concerned over Lana’s (Emmanuelle Chriqui, “Entourage”) involvement with a new mayoral candidate.
The series is developed by Greg Berlanti & Todd Helbing, who serve as executive producers of the series with Sarah Schechter, Geoff Johns and David Madden. ‘Superman & Lois’ is from Berlanti Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television.
‘Superman & Lois‘ Season 2 premieres with a double bill on Saturday, 16th July 2022 from 5:25pm on BBC One & iPlayer.
