‘Jack Ryan’: Season 3 Gets December Premiere Date On Prime Video
Prime Video has announced ‘Jack Ryan‘ will return this December for a 3rd Season on the streaming service.
‘Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan’ stars John Krasinski as the titular character in a reinvention with a modern sensibility of the unexpected Tom Clancy hero. Season 1 centred on Ryan as an up-and-coming CIA analyst who is thrust into a dangerous field assignment for the first time. Season 2 saw the action move to South America as Ryan uncovered a pattern in terrorist communication that launched him into the centre of a dangerous gambit with a new breed of terrorism that threatened destruction on a global scale.
Season 3 finds Jack Ryan on the run and in a race against time. Jack is wrongly implicated in a larger conspiracy and suddenly finds himself a fugitive out in the cold. Now, wanted by both the CIA and an international rogue faction that he has uncovered, Jack is forced underground, crisscrossing Europe, trying to stay alive and prevent a massive global conflict.
Along with Krasinski, the third season cast also features the returning cast of Wendell Pierce as James Greer and Michael Kelly as Mike November. They are joined by Betty Gabriel (‘Get Out’), James Cosmo (‘His Dark Materials’), Peter Guinness (‘Cursed’), Nina Hoss (‘Little Sister’) and Alexej Manvelov (‘Before We Die’). In addition, Michael Peña (‘Ant-Man’, ‘Narcos: Mexico’) makes an appearance as Domingo “Ding” Chavez, before joining the cast full-time for the fourth and final season.
‘Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan’ is co-produced by Amazon Studios, Paramount Television Studios and Skydance Television and executive produced by Andrew Form, Allyson Seeger, John Krasinski, Vaun Wilmott, Brad Fuller and Michael Bay. Additionally, Tom Clancy and Skydance Television’s David Ellison, Dana Goldberg and Bill Bost executive produce the third season, along with Mace Neufeld and Carlton Cuse.
