‘Coroner’ Season 4 Gets November UK Premiere Date On Sky Witness
‘Coroner‘ Season 4 will premiere this November in the UK Sky Witness has announced.
Inspired by the best-selling series of books by M.R. Hall and created by Morwyn Brebner (‘Saving Hope’), ‘Coroner’ follows Dr. Jenny Cooper (Serinda Swan – ‘Inhumans’), a recently widowed new coroner who investigates suspicious, unnatural or sudden deaths in Toronto. Jenny taps into her intuition as much as her intellect and heart as she solves cases with the help of homicide detective Donovan McAvoy (Roger Cross – ‘Continuum’, ‘Dark Matter’), a man who isn’t afraid of challenging the status quo.
As we head into season four, Jenny is on sabbatical, healing from a tragic loss. But her hopes are dashed when a young boy washes up the beach.
The drama also stars Andy McQueen (‘Killjoys’) as Malik Abed, Ehren Kassam (‘Degrassi, Next Class’) as Ross, Thom Allison (‘Killjoys’) as Dr. Elijah Thompson, and Kiley May (‘It Chapter Two’) as River Baitz.
Morwyn Brebner (‘Saving Hope’, ‘Rookie Blue’) is the executive producer and showrunner, and Adrienne Mitchell (‘Durham County’, ‘Bellevue’) is lead director and executive producer for Back Alley Films. Jonas Prupas is exec producer for Muse Entertainment with Peter Emerson and Brett Burlock exec producing for Cineflix Studios. ‘Coroner’ is produced by Muse Entertainment and Back Alley Films for CBC.
