Continuum UK & US TV Premiere Date

by Dave Elliott

Follows the story of Kiera Cameron (Rachel Nichols), a ‘Protector’ (aka cop) in Vancouver 2077. It’s a dystopian future, where corporations rather than government have taken over. A group of rebels known as Liber8 manage to break out of their execution and travel back to 2012, in order to try and prevent this future from taking place. Cameron is accidentally pulled back with them, and manages to work her way into Vancouver PD, with the aid of a young genius Alec Sadler (Erik Knudsen), who will go on to create a lot of the tech the Protectors use. Cameron must stop the rebel’s if shes to get back to her time, and her family.

Continuum is a brilliant show with creative ( and unexpected ) plot development. A quality production that challenges our imaginations. It’s problem is easy to solve. Friday night for any show is a death sentence. It killed Star Trek, Firefly, and many other good shows. I have not seen any promotion for this show. Aside from that everybody who sees it, really likes it. With all the handicaps SyFy Channel gives it I feel it does extremely well considering 10pm Friday night slot. SyFy, Showcase, needs this show to keep its quality of programing to the highest standards. You have a good fan base and have invested money in a great show, now step up and give it some promotion and a better time slot or cut it some slack for the bad time slot. We are watching it on DVD recording, Tivo and best of all: Blu ray with DTS HD Sound. PLEASE DO NOT MAKE A GIANT MISTAKE . THIS SHOW IS A HIDDEN GEM WITH A HUGH CULT FOLLOWING. YOU WILL MAKE LOTS OF MONEY!

Original, unpredictable, action packed and Brilliant! Continuum has all the ingredients of a great TV show. Everyone that I have “introduced” to the show have become huge fans. The only problem I see is that very few people that I know have heard of Continuum. That is not the shows fault. It is the stations that air it. Renewing Continuum should be a “no-brainer”. We now live in a big Science Fiction audience time. Most of the successful shows are now SyFy. Continuum In my opinion is in the top 5. For the budget I am guessing that they work on, they are in the top 2. TV also in my opinion is now the biggest medium. The Movie industry is bloated and horribly mismanaged. They will “green light” almost any turd that comes across somebodies deck. I have never seen so many horrible “big budget” movies made. Huge actors making embarrassing movie projects. I would guess that their 10-20 million dollar paycheck takes the sting out of it. I for one no longer waste my money on going to the movies. I do spend a ton of money on TV shows on BLU-RAY or DVD. Continuum is not just a great show but with a little support and promotion from the distributors and producers, Continuum is and will be a huge franchise. It has all the ingredients of being a long running and very profitable show. I will say this the executives that decide their companies shows fate. For small minds it is probably very easy to hit the “cancel button” and go home. It takes, I feel very little vision to see the vast potential of this show.

You can watch it on Netflix. If you subscribe to http://www.unblock-us.com and use their dns settings you can watch US Netflix in the UK. Continuum Season 3 is available on there. Along with ghost whisperer, Parenthood, A Town Called Eureka etc. I am sure that Once Upon A Time Season 3 will be on there soon. Lost Girl latest season etc. I use this and am happy to pay an extra £3 a month to unblock-us.com for the priviledge. I can watch it on my smart tv, apple tv, mobile phone and android or ios devices linked to my wireless. So my advice is to pay for Netflix and unblock-us and watch what you want, no ads and before they are shown in the UK or instead if the shows are no longer available.

Season 3 of Continuum is now available on Netflix USA.

And Netflix USA also has a selection of 3D programming as well. I watched Turbo in 3D when it was available. I am going to watch Star Trek Into Darkness as well. The choice of programmes is phenomenal. Person of Interest 1 and 2 are available on Netflix UK.

Season 2 has just finished airing on UK sy fy,without comment or even letting the viewers know that it was the last in the series. It is nice to know that series 3 has actually been made, and is available on netflix. So when is it airing in UK? I am missing Keira already surely somebody knows.
Or as usual will it just be aired in 2015 without telling anyone its back on, so that we miss the first 2 or 3 episodes? Same old same old.Someone needs a kick up the Khyber. How many programmes from the states, suddenly dissapear right in the middle of a series and are never seen again? TOO Many!

These days, with the Internet and EPGs and so on, most people are aware of the number of episodes etc, those who are bothered. As for knowing when the new season of anything starts, that’s what we are here for. Bookmark!

I’ve got one episode left, so naturally am wondering where it’s going, because it’s not such a well known show where I am it’s hard to find info,
Is continuum continuing past season 3 episode 8? Please tell me it’s not been cancelled….

WT, whats up with the UK channels, they seem to suck when it comes to showing the new seasons of my fav tv shows. even channel 5 has done the same with CSI season 14 & Once Upon A Time season 3 which both show should have already aired by now. CSI we should have been half way through and Once Upon A Time about 6 episodes in.

Haven’t seen anything other than rumour to that effect

Reply
Richard👤 Guest April 22, 2014 - 5:15 pm

I emailed SyFy regarding said rumours and they replied with this:

“Many thanks for your enquiry regarding season 3 of Continuum.

The information you’ve seen is correct – we do not have any confirmed plans currently for season 3. This is because we had an initial two season deal for Continuum, and do not have a further deal in place for Season 3 currently. We can understand how disappointing this is for fans of the show, and will be sure to announce details should that situation change.

We hope you find other shows to enjoy on Syfy.”

And you wonder why people end up using pirate streaming or p2p to get latest episodes when they cant through legit avenues

Yes. Because there’s nearly always a legitimate means, even if it is DVD. It’s more an issue of impatience and/or unwillingness to pay.
