The next category you voted in was ‘Best Limited Series’. We define a “limited series” as a show that either is a short run, one-off production or has a storyline that completely changes from season to season, such as an anthology series.
Previous winners of this category have included the spectacular ‘Chernobyl’, the brilliant ‘Bodyguard’, and last year’s winner, the groundbreaking and astounding ‘It’s A Sin’. With a huge array of top-quality one-off drama in the past twelve months, it was extremely close at the top, with only 0.3% separating the winner and runner-up. Here are the results.

Despite some tough competition, not the charm of David Tennant or the talent of Eddie Marsan could match the unbridled nostalgia of ‘Willow‘, which saw Warwick Davis return in a new series, set many years after the events of the original 1988 film.
The story began when Davis’ aspiring sorcerer was whisked away on a journey to protect an infant empress Elora Danan and vanquish the evil Queen Bavmorda from their world of Andowyne. With the new limited series, the story continues with Davis reprising his titular role, as he leads an unlikely crew of heroes on a quest to protect Andowyne from an even larger foe than they had imagined possible.
You can find the whole of the ‘Willow’ series on Disney+.
