Geektown Radio 369: The New DCU, Plus ‘Forspoken’, ‘The Recruit’, ‘Nolly’, Reviews, TV News & UK Air Dates!

We are back with a new episode of the Geektown Radio podcast, and Matt from Entertainment Talk returns to join me once again in the co-host chair to chat through and review the week on UK TV, film and gaming, alongside the usual TV news and UK TV air dates.

Matt begins with a review of the recently released action RPG video game ‘Forspoken’, which he seems to like rather more than a lot of people on the internet, so he gives us his thoughts on that. We also chat about the wonderful Disney+ series Extraordinary, the final season of Servant, and new Apple TV+ series Shrinking. Meanwhile, I finally have gotten around to watching ‘Black Panter: Wakanda Forever’, so we chat about that, along with reviewing ITVX’s new Russell T. Davies series ‘Nolly’, the Netflix dramedy ‘The Recruit’, and talk through the finale of ‘New Amsterdam’.

In a packed news section, we run through all the renewals, cancellations and pick-ups such as ‘Pennyworth’, ‘The Traitors’ and ‘1923’. We also chat through the spin-off and potential spin-offs for both ‘Dexter’ and ‘Billions’. We then delve into last week’s announcement from James Gunn and Peter Safran revealing what they have planned for the DC Cinematic Universe for the next couple of years, including Superman, Batman and Green Lanterns.
