It’s nearly the end for ‘Manifest‘, as Netflix releases the “Final Episodes” trailer for Season 4, Part 2, which premieres this June on the streaming service.
The drama began following Montego Air Flight 828 which landed safely after a turbulent but routine flight, to the relief of the crew and passengers. Yet in the span of those few hours, the world had aged five years — and their friends, families and colleagues, after mourning their loss, had given up hope and moved on. Faced with the impossible, they’re all given a second chance. But as their new realities became clear, a deeper mystery unfolded and some of the returned passengers soon realize they may be meant for something greater than they ever thought possible.
At the end of season four, part one, our heroic group were not having a good time… Zeke (Matt Long) sacrificed himself to save Cal (Ty Doran)… Although does appear in the new trailer, which is interesting! Meanwhile, Angelina (Holly Taylor) was running around causing destruction with a piece of a powerful sapphire embedded in her hand, eventually opening a devastating volcanic fissure. On top of that, Saanvi (Parveen Kaur) and Vance’s (Daryl Edwards) research had been raided and shut down.
As we return for these final episodes, the passengers face severe scrutiny in a world fueled by 828er hate, no longer free to solve their own Callings without constant supervision by the unscrupulous 828 Registry. A mysterious accident delivers ominous warnings on a biblical scale that will further jeopardize the livelihood of all the passengers.
As Michaela (Melissa Roxburgh) grieves the loss of her beloved husband Zeke, she must team up with her old flame Jared (J. R. Ramirez) to find new methods to investigate Callings. Meanwhile, Ben (Josh Dallas) and Saanvi attempt to collaborate with the Registry authorities, which only leads to dire results for the passengers. Miraculously, a mythological event reactivates Cal’s sapphire-laden dragon scar, offering a glimmer of hope for the 828ers to survive the rapidly approaching Death Date. But Angelina’s nefarious sapphire powers continue to wreak havoc, leading to a struggle between good and evil down to their very last day in this most terrifying, suspenseful and joyous chapter of the Manifest story.
‘Manifest’ is created by Jeff Rake, and produced by Warner Bros. Television. The drama originally aired on NBC in the USA, who cancelled it after three seasons. It was then rescued by Netflix for a 20-episode fourth and final season, which was split into two halves of 10 episodes each.
‘Manifest‘ Season 4, Part 2 premieres Friday, 2nd June 2023 on Netflix UK and worldwide.
