Lionsgate+ Announces New 3-month Promotion For Sky Customers Beginning Late July
We don’t usually highlight promotions on the site, but given I know there are a lot of ‘Outlander‘ and ‘The Great‘ fans on Geektown, I thought this one could be worth mentioning! International premium streaming service LIONSGATE+, in partnership with Sky, announced today a promotion offering a three months free trial of the streaming service to Sky Glass, Sky Stream and Sky Q customers. They are also putting up some seasons of shows for free, without sign-up, as part of the promotion.
Beginning 28 July 2023 through 27 August 2023, Sky subscribers, as a part of their subscription, will be able to sign up for a promotional offer to also receive LIONSGATE+ at no extra cost for the first three months, before switching to a full subscription rate.
As part of the promo, they are also offering a number of shows for sampling without sign-up during this window. These include:
- The complete first season of the global fan-favourite romantic saga, ‘Outlander’
- The complete first season of ‘Power Book II: Ghost’ from the popular “Power” Universe from Executive Producer Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson
- The complete first season of ‘The Girlfriend Experience’, starring Riley Keough (‘Daisy Jones and the Six’).
LIONSGATE+ launched on Sky Glass smart TVs, Sky Q set-top boxes and Sky Stream in the UK and Ireland in October 2022. Current customers can subscribe to LIONSGATE+ for £5.99/ €4.99 a month and gain access to a vast library of provocative premium content that includes political thriller ‘Gaslit’, starring Julia Roberts and Sean Penn, all seasons of ‘Outlander’ with exclusive access to new episodes of Season 7, plus the travel docuseries spinoff, ‘Men in Kilts’ with Sam Heughan and Graham McTavish. Also coming soon to the service is the third season of the critically acclaimed period dramedy ‘The Great’, starring Elle Fanning and Nicholas Hoult, plus a huge collection of blockbuster fan-favourite movies added every month.
To redeem this offer, customers can simply find the app by saying “Get Lionsgate Plus” into their voice remote or easily find it in the apps rail on their Sky device.
The 3-month free trial offer runs from 28 July 2023 through 27 August 2023 on Sky Glass, Sky Stream and Sky Q.
