The joyously fun and wonderfully murderous ‘Only Murders in the Building‘ Season 3 has been given a trailer and will premiere on Disney+ in the UK and Hulu in the USA in August.
From the minds of Steve Martin and John Hoffman (‘Grace and Frankie’) the series follows three strangers (Steve Martin, Martin Short and Selena Gomez) who share an obsession with true crime and suddenly find themselves wrapped up in one. When a grisly death occurs inside their exclusive Upper West Side apartment building, the trio suspects murder and employs their precise knowledge of true crime to investigate the truth.
Season three finds Charles, Oliver & Mabel investigating a murder behind the scenes of a Broadway show. Ben Glenroy (Paul Rudd) is a Hollywood action star whose Broadway debut is cut short by his untimely death. Aided by co-star Loretta Durkin (Meryl Streep), our trio embarks on their toughest case yet, all while director Oliver desperately attempts to put his show back together. Curtain’s up!
Alongside Rudd, Short, Martin, Gomez, and Streep (which is already a crazy cast list!) the season three cast also includes Jesse Williams (‘Grey’s Anatomy’), Ashley Park (‘Emily in Paris’), Jeremy Shamos (‘Better Call Saul’), Linda Emond (‘Succession’), and Wesley Taylor (‘Smash’), Don Darryl Rivera (‘Let the Right One In’), Allison Guinn (‘The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel’), and Gerald Caesar (‘Dear Evan Hansen’). In addition, Michael Cyril Creighton has been upped to series regular as the cat-loving Howard Morris.
‘Only Murders in the Building’ hails from co-creators and writers Steve Martin and John Hoffman (‘Grace & Frankie’, ‘Looking’). Martin and Hoffman executive produce along with Martin Short, Selena Gomez, ‘This Is Us’ creator Dan Fogelman and Jess Rosenthal. The series is produced by 20th Television, a part of Disney Television Studios.
