‘SEAL Team’ To End With 7th & Final Season

Acclaimed military drama SEAL Team starring David Boreanaz, is set to end with its 7th Season it has been announced.

‘SEAL Team’ is a military drama that follows the professional and personal lives of the most elite unit of Navy SEALs as they train, plan, and execute the most dangerous, high-stakes missions our country can ask of them. Jason Hayes (Boreanaz) is the respected, intense leader of the Tier One team whose home life has suffered as a result of his extensive warrior’s existence. Deployed on clandestine missions worldwide at a moment’s notice, and knowing the toll it takes on them and their families, this tight-knit SEAL team displays unwavering patriotism and fearless dedication even in the face of overwhelming odds.

“For six seasons I have been fortunate and blessed to be a part of an outstanding cast and crew,” said Boreanaz. “Every day spent was a note of thanks to our men and women in the military and Special OPS. I thank our fans, and I’m proud we were able to make this show to shine light in the darkness toward so many suffering today. I look forward to Season 7 and the opportunity to end this series with love and gratitude.”

Hayes’ team includes his trusted confidant, Ray Perry (Neil Brown Jr), the longest-tenured operator with whom Jason shares an ingrained shorthand; Sonny Quinn (AJ Buckley), an exceptional, loyal soldier with a checkered past who still combats self-destructive tendencies; Omar Hamza (Raffi Barsoumian), a senior chief with fifteen years of experience as a SEAL, the son of Syrian immigrants with deep understanding of the Middle East. Vital to the team’s success is Lieutenant Lisa Davis (Toni Trucks), a no-nonsense, take-charge officer.

“It has been a privilege to tell stories over seven seasons that honour the bravery and heroism of all who serve our country,” add executive producers Spencer Hudnut and Christopher Chulack. “We are deeply grateful to our amazing group of actors, writers, directors and talented crew, especially the hundreds of veterans who have worked on this show. While we wish we could continue to shine a spotlight on areas where we can do better for our service members even after Season 7 comes to an end. it is our hope that the collective SEAL Team community will stay in the fight when it comes to protecting our protectors.”

‘SEAL Team’ is produced by CBS Studios, and executive produced by Spencer Hudnut, Christopher Chulack, Sarah Timberman, Carl Beverly, Mark Owen and David Boreanaz. The series is distributed worldwide by Paramount Global Content Distribution and airs on Sky Max in the UK.

SEAL Team‘ Season 7 is due to go into production in early December 2023, and will air at some point in 2024 on Paramount+ in the USA, and should return to Sky Max in the UK.
