Disney+ is handing out the Christmas gift of Marvel’s ‘What If…?‘ Season 2 this December with a new episode to unwrap a a new episode nightly for nine nights.
Season two of “What If… ?” continues the journey as The Watcher guides viewers through the vast multiverse, introducing brand new and familiar faces throughout the MCU. The series questions, revisits and twists classic Marvel Cinematic moments with an incredible voice cast that includes a host of stars who reprise their iconic roles.
Jeffrey Wright returns to the role of The Watcher. Other confirmed cast includes Hayley Atwell (Captain Carter), Josh Keaton (Steve Rogers), Lake Bell (Black Widow), Sebastian Stan (Bucky Barnes), Rachel Weisz (Melina Vostokoff), Elizabeth Olsen (Scarlet Witch), Cynthia McWilliams (Gamora), Mick Wingert (Tony Stark), Jeff Goldblum (The Grandmaster), Taika Waititi (Korg), Mark Ruffalo (Bruce Banner), Benedict Cumberbatch (Doctor Strange), Josh Brolin (Thanos), Kurt Russell (Ego), Michael Rooker (Yondu), Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Jeremy Renner (Hawkeye), Michael Douglas (Hank Pym), Evangeline Lilly (Hope Van Dyne), Cate Blanchett (Hela), Laurence Fishburne (Bill Foster), and Samuel L. Jackson (Nick Fury).
Other notable fan-favorite characters featuring this season like Nebula, Hela and Happy Hogan. All episodes are directed by executive producer Bryan Andrews with executive producer AC Bradley as head writer.
